Man, I’ve kinda been going over board.
Shop video and 10th anniversary spitfires from seasons.
Deck from cowtown
Shirt from the point in Dallas
Shop shirt from vu - my local.
Hardware and lake trout video from bohtz hardware
[close]

Just bought the new Seasons video as well, comes with a photo book too. Looking forward to watching it.
Gotta love when a shop takes the time and care to do a shop video let alone one with a photo book.
Fuck with those dudes heavy since I was rolling through once on the way upstate and kicked it at the shop for a bit talking to one of the owners.

Don't need them but I panic bought some 55mm 99a F4 tablets... (also to support the local, Shrunken Head Skateboards).

Wade Boggs isn't dead. You did freak me out for a second. Wade Boggs is a legend, I was thinking it just happened. I was like holy shit can 2020 get any worse.

Edit: My dad used to always tell me this story that one night Wade Boggs and Andre the giant were both in Philadelphia the same night and they drank the entire city out of beer.

They had a different one that was just a portrait of Wade Boggs that I thought was pretty funny a while ago. I genuinely want one, but I’m not expected to go back to work until mid July at the earliest, but it’s realistically looking like maybe September. I hit axle on my trucks and my wheels are starting to feel soft, so I had to order some to tide me over, but I have have to save most of what I have because who knows how long this will really last

Lately I've been getting 8.38 boards because finding 8.5" in here is s proven challenge at times.
Since I'm skating Ace I thought: "Hey, these would go nicely with an 8.38 but I don't have bearings or hardware to out together a smaller setup". So I ordered some big balls, sj hardware and I thought: "This is the perfect excuse to finally get easy streets". So I added some V4 STF 99 since I didn't wanted to setup the extra set of F4 the to have on ice.
All of this is a great excuse to put some Thunders on my main setup to replace the Aces that went to the smaller setup  8)

I’ve never cheated on a girl before, but I have skated Thunders almost exclusively since 2006 and Im feeling weird that I just got a set of ACE 03’s for my main setup. Thunder 147’s are out of stock everywhere. Couldn’t even find Ventures which would’ve been my second choice. I still have some life left in my current trucks, but I’ll try these out after and hope they last until there isn’t a truck shortage

I have a third set up but it’s old shit I’ve had so I haven’t bought anything new for it since I got back riding around again. Actually my friend who wanted to start skating again is borrowing it now to cruise around on before he sets up his new complete

Got a pair of thunder 148s from labor, stoked to skate them, gonna get a new quasi 8.25 to pair them with I think.

Also snagged a sci-fi fantasy shirt and hoodie.
Today is good.

I’m anticipating it. When I was working a lot I bought a lot of decks and shoes expecting to have all summer to skate while on hiatus. I just had to get some trucks, wheels, and bearings to hold me over before I resort to Frankensteining old trucks together

Got some extra wheels this month, just to keep on ice and save for future set-ups.

Spitfire Classics Toxic Shrooms 99d 55mm Orange/Blue Swirl

Spitfire Bigheads 99d 54mm Teal/Purple Swirl

I got a thing for colored wheels and swirls in particular so I'm pretty stoked on these purchases

I opened pandora's box of bushings after years of avoiding the headache and bought some Bones Mediums to replace my soft ones. The soft ones turn great but I felt like I was gonna get wheelbite every time I even set up for a kickflip. I just did a lap around my culdesac with the mediums and it felt pretty stable while turning well. Hopefully this does the trick.

I just order a crewneck sweatshirt and a hat from NJ skate shop. I might buy a pair of shoes from kinetic or one of my shops I frequented before I moved alittle bit more north.

Not really skate related but me and my wife bought a huge package of steaks, tuna steaks and chicken from Wenning's wholesale meats.

Start of March to now I’ve bought;

Polar Oskar Rozenberg 8.38 arigato shape
Ace 44(favorite trucks so far)
Brad Cromer 8.38 football shape
Hockey 8.38 Donovan Silver surfer
Bones Stf 99 v5
Thunder 148 Guy Marianos
Quasi acid-ply 8.25 Gil Crockett

I skate 2hrs a day so I’ve already gone through the polar and just setup the cromer the other day. Would definitely buy that same board again.

These are gorgeous

I’ve never cheated on a girl before, but I have skated Thunders almost exclusively since 2006 and Im feeling weird that I just got a set of ACE 03’s for my main setup. Thunder 147’s are out of stock everywhere. Couldn’t even find Ventures which would’ve been my second choice. I still have some life left in my current trucks, but I’ll try these out after and hope they last until there isn’t a truck shortage

Those ace’s look sick! Hopefully you have a good time with em. I haven’t tried the lo. I’m not sure why I haven’t. Ace don’t really wheelbite all that much for me, I’m betting you could ride those with 52mm wheels w/o too much trouble. 52mm and 147s are about my limit
