Been playing the franchise for 10 years, love the games. Me and 3 of my friends been playing it like, religiously. I got the pre-ordered version so I got access at the start of the week, thought the game was fucking fantastic. General release came on Thursday and the servers hit capacity instantly so nobody's been able to play the game and some intern at Overkill is probably working his little swedish balls off trying to rev up more servers at 5 am to hold more people. I'm pretty bummed out but what can you do. Is what it is.

Started back into RE4 remake for spooky season. I'm trying not to obsess on all the collectibles as that burnt me out last time, just playing for fun and enjoying the ride.

Had it since it got released.  It takes a minute to get use to the mechanics but once you figure it out its dope as hell!  The main story is kinda meh but the arena stages are the shit!

Got the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC (Phantom Liberty) and hooo boy, it's awesome. Appears they've made a bunch of changes to the game since it came out several years ago and damn is it good.

Battlefield 4 for the first time in years. Used to be cracked at this game a decade ago when it released but I am absolute dog water at it now. I think I prefer bf1 because of the longer time to kill.

not so keen on remembering combos, so I put it aside. But it was fun enough to get back to it during some cold winter days.

Played cyberpunk instead. First time. I thought that the 2.0 patch might be worth checking out, but in the end it was just a glorified shooter pretending to have rpg-mechanics. From what i read, it seems they nerfed netrunner mechanics quite a bit, which is a shame.

I'm enjoying it as well. I haven't beat it yet but it's got some good time value if you're into 100%ing levels and collecting everything. It's a nice balance of a nostalgic side scroller Mario game with some fun new twists.

 I had a game voucher which I used for this bc I had the same concern as you but I don't think I would've been bummed to pay full price. If you're not in a rush to play it though definitely just get to it when you can grab a 2nd had deal on it. Definitely worth a play through regardless.

Goddamn I started Skyrim again on a whim and I'm totally hooked into it again. I didn't finish it the first time and I'm getting close to where I left off so it's mostly new to me now. What a game... I can (and have) lose like 6 hour chunks where I'm completely lost in it.

I might do fallout next, I think I saw some of them on game pass

Started playing Anno 1800 sincerity is now available on consoles and I wanted to relive some childhood memories playing building games. I feel after 6 hours the honeymoon phase will soon be over. 
Also played the remaster of Alan Wake to be prepared for the second installment. Gameplay is boring af - story is cool though.

Got a lot of hate from pea-brained sensationalists but I highly recommend Last of Us 2 if you enjoyed the first game
