Very tasty. I usually go for a more crunchy, sturdy bread, like a baguette with a good crust. Straight from the freezer in the morning, fresh when it's lunchtime.

p.s.: Nice try with Puig mate, but its basic knowledge that that dude's a certified loser:

Bread is also really important and often overlooked. You can buy a bag of bakery rolls and keep them in the freezer for a few weeks and they thaw out fairly quickly on the countertop.

I've tried freezing bread many times in the past, usually hotdog or hamburger buns leftover from a cookout.
I swear they're never quite the same after freezing, you (or anyone else) have a method for revitalizing previously frozen bread? I've tried putting them in the microwave for a few seconds and it helps a little. I've been curious if steaming would work well but I'm not sure the best way to go about that.
[close]

Wet them up a little before putting them in the oven.

I endorse this. A very quick run under the tap, and don't go too high with the oven temperature. White buns are tricky though; in my experience non-processed bread is a lot more suitable to bulk buy and store in the freezer (loses less in quality when defrosting).

Best method I’ve found for defrosting any kind of bread is to let it just sit out on the countertop. Anytime ive tried to heat it from frozen in any way always makes it slightly mushy.

Just had a very disappointing Turkey Sammie. Wish I'd consulted this thread fist.

I’m pretty hyped on this sandwich I made the other day. One thing that separates homemade sandwiches from a deli bought one is wrapping it with either parchment, plastic wrap or foil. Really brings it all together and gives you a better, cleaner bite. Also don’t be afraid to experiment with different sauces. Mayo+mustard is fine but go wild, add some Italian dressing or some aioli. It’s easy to make your own. Bread is also really important and often overlooked. I like a good Reuben when it comes to hot sandwiches. Corned Beef or Pastrami on rye with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing... yum

Not a fan of 1010 either. I just googled Jason Jessee sandwich and this moronic quote from his Dad popped up from an interview.

Ridiculous!

Here I am trying to learn who is not a loser in skateboarding, and I read nothing but sandwiches.

Sandwiches!

Cmon, let’s get serious: this is important.

(…. Gluten free bread is really good toasted.)

Good looking sandwich @Dad Board.  Not a huge proponent of Italian dressing on sandwiches myself, I’d rather just go olive oil, but you can’t go wrong with the aioli.

What’s everyone’s favorite sandwich?

I’m a big fan of chicken cutlets with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe on a seeded roll.

If you were a hotdog, and you were starvin’, would you eat yourself?

They stay together? I’ve made garb or lentil burgers before but used egg to bind it all together and then coated in Panko to get a good crust.

Does anyone know why it’s called a roast beef grab?

The lore I’m familiar with is Grosso couldn’t do a stalefish, so he came up with the reach between the legs version and dubbed it the “Grossman Air” (idk if he was the first to do it). He had a photo in Thrasher (?) where they captioned it “Roast Beef”. Not sure if it was to clown Jeff or they didn’t have a trick name…

Either way he took full responsibility for that atrocity of a trick.
Wow sorry, didn't realise I was dealing with a sick cunt here
