You can buy a bag of bakery rolls and keep them in the freezer for a few weeks and they thaw out fairly quickly on the countertop. [close]I've tried freezing bread many times in the past, usually hotdog or hamburger buns leftover from a cookout.I swear they're never quite the same after freezing, you (or anyone else) have a method for revitalizing previously frozen bread? I've tried putting them in the microwave for a few seconds and it helps a little. I've been curious if steaming would work well but I'm not sure the best way to go about that.[close]Wet them up a little before putting them in the oven.

A very quick run under the tap, and don't go too high with the oven temperature. White buns are tricky though; in my experience non-processed bread is a lot more suitable to bulk buy and store in the freezer (loses less in quality when defrosting).

I’m pretty hyped on this sandwich I made the other day. One thing that separates homemade sandwiches from a deli bought one is wrapping it with either parchment, plastic wrap or foil. Really brings it all together and gives you a better, cleaner bite. Also don’t be afraid to experiment with different sauces. Mayo+mustard is fine but go wild, add some Italian dressing or some aioli. It’s easy to make your own. Bread is also really important and often overlooked. 10/10 sandwich
I like a good Reuben when it comes to hot sandwiches. Corned Beef or Pastrami on rye with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing... yum
Me: I found skate Jesus.Slap: Yeah, well maybe if he does the crucifix switch I will believe it.
Now that‘s a sandwich.

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless."That guy is double parked.""Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?
What's with the multilayers of meat?I never understood that.

Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.
I'll never say no to a Wegman's sub.
Let's skate yo.
where do you all fall on the 'is a hot dog a sandwich?' question
Does anyone know why it’s called a roast beef grab?
Wow sorry, didn't realise I was dealing with a sick cunt here
