general consensus is vm002's fit half a size down, and that was true for my first pair. however, i ran through them in about three months which doesn't work for me mainly walking everywhere (they are my chillers). has anyone tried getting a true to size (which is really half a size up) and putting an insole in them? I wear the remind medics and these absolutely crushed my feet with those put in (without the originial insole). i not sure if going half a size up would give my foot more room on the height.

The local shop posted a photo of them to their insta but it was taken down almost immediately. I imagine nobody is allowed to post pics from the catalogue until they're released.

They were brown with a white sole if I remember correctly. I'm not sure it they were suede or canvas. Don't know what other colors are coming. They looked dope, I will def get a pair.

searched for it and I'm digging it alot. I wonder why the canvas ones don't have the padding around the ankles. Tempting but wondering if I should wait for the highs though...

Thats how all the LR models are. Canvas versions have no padding and suede ones do.

I just popped some fp insoles in mine and they become my favorite skate shoes.

Oh, that's good to know. I only skate high tops so I haven't paid attention to the lows.

Fp makes a pu insole that’s pretty good , but if you go with the “Gamechangers” they are going to take up a lot of room in your shoe. Personally I’ve never had a pair of vulcs that they fit well in.

I imagine State Footwear's removable insole or Etnies' STI insoles would fit nicely in LRAB vulcs without raising your foot too much

Lakai’s vulc insole is the perfect fit although I can get gamechangers in mine too!

Back for my weekly cupsole letdown. Though I must say, coming here regularly has made me want to get a pair of lows just to wear around. those dark green ones are right up my alley.

how would you compare the fit of them both? which ones fit wider in the toes? looking at these my biggest concern is them being too narrow. the 1s look a bit wider than the 2s.

You're  pretty much right, the VM001 suedes will have the most room in the toe box. Not the Canvas. Although I think the VM003s actually are the roomiest LRABs I've owned so far

I have been skating vm001 suede hi’s for a year and just got a pair of vm001 canvas lo’s to walk in and they are definitely tighter in the toe box; hopefully they loosen up.
