I’ll say Jeremiah Vance, Element was talking him up non stop then he vanished in like a year.

Look at his list again. I didn't get it at first either.

Tosh is another one who seemed to have it all and then vanished.

In an ironic twist of fate he now sells cars.

I really liked Ryan Spencer. Not sure what happened to him.

I remember watching the Cardboard Cat tour thinking he was gonna be the next big thing in skateboarding. Such a shame he fell off

Johnny Jones comes to mind. I remember reading he lost his family in a crazy car accident. Idk if he applies given his losses. Hope that dude is okay. Also Daniel Espinoza. What happened to him?

I think losing his mom and like three of his sisters in an accident led him to leave skating for a job where he can provide for what siblings he had left.

Yeah that makes sense for sure. What a fucking tragedy. I lost a parent but was already fully grown and stable in my career. I couldn't even imagine losing most of my family at such a young age. Again, hope he's doing well!

Pretty  much everyone's career, but Heath Kirchart's. Exited in style.

Not on IG anymore but I found him there and he seems to be doing really well. Got a wife and daughter and seems to really be enjoying the family life.

I had this part on repeat back in the day. Always liked the first line. Also I never noticed he skated a Baker board during his line at Paris La Defense (2:04) until now

His career wasn’t short, but Pops really set himself up to have a much longer second wind of low-impact NYC parts, he could have kept that going for 10-20 years and people would be eating that shit up now. Drugs were rumored which made sense because he got so much worse so fast.

Cairo Foster had a pro-to-flow party for his retirement.

Pretty sick IMO.

Good one

He used to get mad coverage 02-04 and then nothing. He was a stair/rail guy when it was cool for every up and comer to be a stair/rail guy. I don’t think he turned pro. For him to drop off like that without picking up a sponsor means he prolly quit. Never heard anything bad or about him since then.

Shit is crazy and was on CONS as the OG when it came out. He was looking bugged out in that Epicly Later’d over a decade ago. Pops never struck me as a  dude who got high.

Callum Paul, Bill Weiss have had their peters out throughout their careers. Petered Hewitt's Nike career.

DJ Gaudin

Sw BS flip Wallinberg and down that 16 with Greco was hectic.

Would love to have seen what else he could have done.

You can usually put the early end of a career down to two things. Booze/drugs or an injury(ies) which is almost always in the knee

I mean he deserves to do whatever he wants, he earned it. He was Real’s gnarliest dude for about eight years. Real even ran an ad with no photo, all text just thanking him for his service - and this was during his active prime. btw I know the OP was just making a joke on the name but I wanted to give Ramondetta the credit he deserves while we’re talking about him
