Got some new balance 255s they hurt my feet. I’m assuming they need broken in but damn they hurt my toes. Where the shoe creases when you walk where toes and foot connect. So I bought some vans tnts at a local they feel good so I’m gonna skate the tnts and slowly try and break i the 255s so they’ll be ready when the tnts die

I have them and I like them a lot. I usually run conical 52s. The classic fulls felt a little too grippy on my first session but they have broken in nicely after a few sessions. I don’t flip my board enough for the one different colored wheel to bother me. Getting glimpses of the tennis ball color actually get me hyped.

Made a thread asking if cleaning Swiss made a difference. Actually cleaned them, the very next day they were running great and then I shot my board into a puddle at the park. Felt so defeated after that but they’re still running smooth

Possibly the best thing Ive ever purchased. Bought this for my older brother.. The first 'real' skateboard he ever had right when we started skating around 2000-2001. I was hyped when I found it for sale! Honestly never thought Id see this graphic again. I believe its a Marc Mckee. We used to trip out on this deck back in in the day thinking it was huge. F*ckin things an 8.5 which was actually ginormous at the time. Ultra stoked.

Picked up a set of f4 classics, the glow in the dark ones because they were pretty cheap. In case I hate going back to a rounder wheel

I stopped by DLXSF last summer to check it out and buy a shirt and HOLY SHIT they hooked it the fuck up with stickers haha. I walked around super awkwardly for 5 minutes while some locals were in there kicking it then handed the clerk a sticker from my local shop and mumbled some dumb shit like “greetings from Seattle” and the dude lit up and dropped 20+ slaps in my bag. Then while in my anxiety-ridden state I walked out of the shop without my bag and one of the locals bombed down the hill and gave it to me.

Decided to switch it up a bit. Just got this and the length/wheelbase is throwing me off. Normally I ride 8.0/31.875 with a 14.25, but this is 8.125/32 with a 14.25 wheelbase and the nose is 6.875 which is what I'm used to, but it just seems fuller. I thought width would be throwing me off a bit but definitely the length/wheelbase I mean, it's helping to change up my riding style a bit.

I've had shitty bearings for a long time (old reds and then Bronsons for a few weeks which were complete garbage and a waste of time and money).

I had the best session in a long time. I actually forgot what decent bearings feel like.
