Loving the long toecap and the “out of the way”  placement of the lace eyelets on the Tiago shoe. Some dude in the comments of that post is saying that those are the first samples and that things have changed a little but they look sick so far

I love the design for the Tiago but I can’t skate mesh tops. I’m lookin at that black one to chill in I mean damn those are cold. If a leather top one comes out I’ll skate that for sure.

Still doing them, just not each season as we have mid-tops and hi-tops that come in and out of the line but we don't want to have 4-5 of them flooding our line each season.  Also, the 213 sells out super quick for us so that's probably why it's difficult to find.

I kind of dig that 1010 (they might look too “Seinfeld” on someone with my build). They do look comfortable so maybe I’ll give them a try.

The all black one looks strangely atrocious though - like no name work shoes at Walmart. Needs some contrast somewhere.

New Tiagos definitely fit him and look like something he'd come out with. Launch colorways are pretty meh to be honest, hopefully there's a third better one launching with those two.

I got a discount code and was look at the 288S. How do they fit? I ordered some 255's around a year ago in size 12 which I what I wear in everything and they were too small.

the tiagos look great, seems like a good replacement for 868.
[close]
I thought the exact opposite, 868's look better to me. And I'd rather skate 913's.
1010 sole is too organic for me and I don't like long heels on skate shoes, make my feet feel like skis.
But with the retro, fluffy shoe crowd this could be a hit. Brazil colorway after the Olympics?
[close]

not saying these are better, but i'm less sad they won't be available anymore since these seem to at least fill the niche the 868 left. i'm personally digging the wavy outsole, it's not overdone like in other models attempting a chunky sole look. the all black colorway especially looks super dope imo.

868s are sick though, i want to get them at some point when they rerelease.
Yeah, I agree. Stoked there will be a 868 replacement. And that outside bugs me less than most eS offerings.
If NB was smart they'd do another black 868 before they killed it off..

Did they send out a mass code or did you get a one use one? I’m looking to grab a pair of 306’s this week

288S is an amazing shoe, so comfortable right out of the box and fit true to size.

Really stoked on the new white/blue colorway of the wesgate 913, is the sizing still as fucked as when I weartested them back before they dropped? I wore a 9.5 and they straight up felt like a 10.5, REALLY long in the toe. But I also have a short/wide foot that fits perfectly in most size 9 vans and lakai, sizing suggestions?

had opposite experience, that older green/emerald colorway was very short for me in a 12, which i usually wear in vans.

Got a pair of 913 in size 12 that are too small for me unfortunately. I think they’re sick. Let me know if interested. They feel smaller than a 12 tbh.

What's the difference between a corporate brand like nike or adidas vs new balance. Not a troll question just seen these carried pretty often at core shops.
[close]
new balance is actually privately held, not a publicly traded company like nike or adidas.
i think this is a huge reason why nb# took several seasons off selling products to retool shoes. they were trying to get a product that was up to their standards from where the black box licensing deal left off. and they didnt boot their team or employees from my understanding
[close]

That makes sense. Thanks.
Nobody from those other corpo brands posts here regularly and listens to and responds to feedback. They could...I guarantee they all employ a social media person. They either just don't know or care to do it.

Is the 288 Sport new? It looks less clunky in some way.

Is the 658 supposed to be skateable?

Should not have opened this thread, I've already got too many shoes to get through!

How are the 425 & the 868? Liking the simplicity of the 425 but the 868 looks really durable. I'm trying to make my shoes last as long as possible without smearing shoe goo all over it. I'm all for having a shoe with more tech if it improves durability and comfort.

Hey Roth, what's up with the "numeric 210"? The insole says all coasts.
