Can’t wait to hear how they messed these up and how they’re not as good as the originals
I’m not letting my YouTube algorithm anywhere near that video.
another fine example of nike's "fuck it, just reissue the old shit" mentality

What are the other examples?[close]I'm not talking about SB, just Nike in general. pretty much anything else the company as a whole put out in the last few years reeks of their reissue mentality. Mac Attack, Air Ship, everything with Jordan/Kobe, everything with Dunks, Vomero 5, everything with ACG. It's either that or create something that looks like it could be a retro Nike model but isn't, like the ishod 1/2, that weird Travis Scott shoe, book 1. Here is a good article: https://www.businessoffashion.com/articles/retail/nike-sportswear-market-challenges-john-donahoe/.That being said, what is even the last release he had? When has Koston last put out a shoe?

It’s almost like fashion is cyclical and brands tap into their past as new generations discover them and want to make them their own
Nike is putting out plenty of new product like any other company. There is just an entire counter culture attached to their retro products that makes them more visible and gives the illusion that they don't make anything else. Especially given the social media sneaker algorithm. The fact of the mater is no one lines up for a new lifestyle shoe no matter what company makes it, but they sure will for a retro reissue.
Wish they would reissue the Koston 1 nikes too
I may be an outlier here, but I miss the Dunk Elite with the sock liner. I doubt it will happen, but I hope they reissue those, too.

I remember wanting to buy a pair of those Koston 3’s with the sock liner but the fit and feel just didn’t work well for me.
