yo tate and rothdigga, thanks for the info on the 288 S!

i also noticed only like 1 or 2 colorways a season on the 533v2 PJs, i hop that doesn't mean it gets phased out since it became one of my go to shoes!

Or is there something new coming up with PJ?

Rothdigga, any updates on that 868 color way you mentioned a while back? When will it drop? And will it be the last run of 868s?

I believe we have that thing slated for Sept. 1 release.  I think we're going to do more of the 868 but it's the only one on my sales radar for the time being.  We should have a good amount of stock for you to grab the size you need once they're out.

Foy's shoe looks great - really like the green suede.

Saw this post of the 288 S.  Looks potentially great.  I would love a flat 288.  That high heel kills me.

Roth, don't think we didn't notice you ignore the PJ question  ;)

Good day fellow pals. I’ve been a Vans Era Pro/Authentic Pro wearer for many years. Sometimes venturing out to Lakai or Emerica. Of all the sports companies silhouettes and shoe technology, NB# has recently caught my eye. I’m not the biggest fan of their shapes on all the cupsole models, but I really like the 255’s. Has anyone skated them and how do they hold up in terms of durability and support vs. any other vulc shoe with a good insole?

I think he answered it recently, if memory serves right before the most recent season drop, and they're doing a couple per season. I've noticed there's pretty much been a white colorway and a black colorway in the past 3 drops. Kook me if I've misremembered again.

Yes he did say they were phasing out his shoe in a season or two.  I meant more the "is there anything new with PJ?" question.  Seeing as how there has been no clips of him or any mention of him from NB in quite some time.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if the 533 v2 is still in production? I see it's on sale at Tactics in some colorways and I definitely want to scoop a pair if they're getting phased out or something. Still in search of the perfect cupsole shoe for my wide and achy feet ever since they stopped making the Suciu 1.
[close]

We're currently out booking Holiday 2019 533's with 2 colorways in that season so they're still in the line.  But I do know that people like these for wide feet and the 440's also work well for a wider foot, so either should work for you I would think.

Here's the quote.  I think I had it wrong as it sounds like the 533 is still in there.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on Karangelov's 379. Price is tempting but I really don't need more shoes + I'm moving to another country...
Anybody here had tried them?
almost returned them because the roundness of the toe coupled with that wheat yellow color had me feeling like i had two half cooked stubby loafs of bread on my feet.  but i got them on sale and couldn't be bothered so i kept them.  they might be my favorite shoe along with the 212 right now.  great for my somewhat wide flat feet.  very comfortable and flexible (literally out the box) but stable. sole is grippy and appears to be wearing well. they will be a go to if they don't bag out too horribly, which NB vulcs are good for not doing anyway.

size them like you would the 533's which the uppers nicely resemble.

Basically this. Except they're worse.

Except for the part where the 306 has a toe panel section / multiple pieces to the shoe instead of just 1 continuous piece...

Except for the mesh line along the top of the shoe, just below the eyelets, separating the eyelet area & the toe / midfoot paneling...

Except for the padded tongue in the 306 & near no padded tongue in the 379.

Except for how the 379 has that piping at the top / around the ankle, where the exterior & interior of the shoes meet...

Except for the heel bumper paneling on the 379...

I could keep going... only the soles are the same.... everything else is completely different.

That Foy shoe looks great. Not into these colorways personally, but the design is interesting and I'm curious to see what other options come out.

sock linerlike a mike mo, flatter sole than the previous 288 or atleast when i tried them on. i normally skate a busenitz and the 288 was flatter, the 288s was even flatter to me.

I saw them for sale on Skate Warehouse today. But the price is $85 which seems high for a fairly simple looking shoe. Wondering how it skates regardless.

Its really well built. Foy said they last him a month. Compared to a Janoski which is $90 bucks and very simply built. But what do i know?
