Anyone have any idea what the dimensions on this thing were like? It’s a Neil Blender workshop deck from 1991.

I feel like these were around 9.0" to 9.25" x 32" or a touch less with something like a 14 to 14.25 wheelbase, with fairly long kicks, going by the board I have from that era that is similar.

They were fairly wide still, but shortening wheelbases with lengthening noses without the board being overly long was common.

For reference to a modern deck, the AH Huffer shape deck I put over the top of it is about the same shape overall, only the AH Huffer deck has about a .5" longer wheelbase and length.

width: 9.18"
length: 32.62"
wheelbase: 14.81"
nose: 7"
tail: 6.75"

That makes sense, as Cory Kennedy skated Cardiel's board and had Girl do the same shape for him.

Just setup that grimple gerwer 9.1 football/egg shape on some af1 55s, and spitfire HDs. Fun lil ripper, never skated a shape like this before. Would post a pic but I can't size them properly after hosting the img on that ibb site. Fuck it I'll do it anyway, sorry for the format.

Does that Toy Machine specify a length on it?  I've seen various sizes listed on different sites

Just measured 80.5 cm with the tape measure suspended between the nose and tail with the board graphic facing down

nothing's been the since same

If i picked up one of the enjoi thaynan decks would 159s be too big? Been eyeing that shape for a while. For reference I'm used to skating 8.5's with 159s

then you will be fine with 159s on that deck.

I prefered ace 44 classics with three washers inside each wheel on the thaynan deck cause it has a short tail. shorter than I prefer at least

CK did the "Phawt" shape based on the Cardiel. The Couch is a tad wider with a tiny wheelbase.

That makes sense, as Cory Kennedy skated Cardiel's board and had Girl do the same shape for him.

You are correct - thanks for that!

Girl Cory Kennedy Ombre Phawt 9.12 x 32.625 with a 14.75 wb

Couch G048: 9.25" x 32" Wheelbase: 13.875" Nose: 7.125" Tail: 6.8"

There is even a thread about it too.

No prob. It is my all time favorite shape. Even with the long wheelbase it all comes together for me on the Huffer/ Phawt.

I’m right there with ya.

My buddy just got me a huffer and picked himself up a mutant egg.

Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

I currently have two Huffers set up and 1 Huffer/ 1 Phawt in the pile... and I'm already panicking about having another back up just incase it takes AH some time to release another... ::) thankfully the local has 7 in stock!

My birthday is the 24th so I’m going to have my wife pick me up a huffer or two, and hopefully I can get away with buying the black widow and a Reuter egg from black label. I’m thinking one of my homies might pick me up a gerwer egg too, so hopefully I’ll be sitting on a nice half carton of eggs here shortly

A noble birthday request!

My whole thing with short wheelbases was I still wanted to keep 360 flips (I probably land one a month) but I landed my best one all summer on the Huffer with Ace 55 Classics... The Huffer is truly a shape I could be happy riding vert, pools, curbs or flat on with different wheel sizes. I still have a few short wheelbase boards in the pile but I might see if I can commit to the Huffer/ Phawt from now on.

That’s the thing for me, I set my huffer up with 55 classics and either 54mm lock ins or conical fulls and it is my perfect Goldilocks set up. Not even just saying that because cards is my all time favorite.

I’ve learned more tricks and skated the best I ever have on that exact set up. That’s skating everything, transition, street, ledges, curbs, flat. the only thing that holds me back is availability. I need to just stand up to my wife and buy 3-4 at a time. But that’s a lot easier said than done.

At least every AH drop seems to have a Huffer shape in it, which is promising, especially coming from the time that there were none around last year.

saw these in the Sale Gear thread.  Looks like they might be more like the crailtap loveseat shape than a true football, but anyone have any first-hand experience?  Might be worth a shot for the price...
