Been pondering skating these shapes exclusively (again, as the BPSW era is my fave). Especially if I can keep getting the smaller ones. Might try the enjoi deedz one next. or the gerwer 8.38

I've been working extra hours these last couple weeks just so I could buy a few more Heroin egg boards. I plan to collect as many of the models as I can get. The Curb Killer one seems to be very popular right now and sold out every where. But I was able to find one in stock last week and just got it in the mail today. There's a few other ones I want to get. I wish I could get my hands on one of those anatomy egg ones but seems like the ship has sailed on those.

saw these in the Sale Gear thread.  Looks like they might be more like the crailtap loveseat shape than a true football, but anyone have any first-hand experience?  Might be worth a shot for the price...
https://lbskate.com/search?q=football
FWIW I believe those are Prime shapes. I clocked the 8.62 as this shape:
https://socalskateshop.com/SoCal-Blank-T8-Shaped-Skateboard-Deck-Blue-Stain-86x32.html#!?cc_decks=117600&c=cc_grip-tape
I like that shape a lot but I always thought of it as a shaped pop more than a football shape
them cats are out getting mashed up to jungle, he's out mashing up jungle cats. it's just not gonna work.

Just setup that grimple gerwer 9.1 football/egg shape on some af1 55s, and spitfire HDs. Fun lil ripper, never skated a shape like this before. Would post a pic but I can't size them properly after hosting the img on that ibb site. Fuck it I'll do it anyway, sorry for the format.

This shape is bomb it's been a while since I've skated a shaped deck (like 10 years ago when I had a ZigZagger as a cruiser) and Im beyond stoked on how it skates and how fun it is! Even posted it in 2 threads.

If i picked up one of the enjoi thaynan decks would 159s be too big? Been eyeing that shape for a while. For reference I'm used to skating 8.5's with 159s
[close]

then you will be fine with 159s on that deck.

I was looking at this https://dwindle.com/catalogs

Looks like Thayan's shape has been shortened to 31.8 x 14WB
I think it was 31.89 x 14.2 wb ..  I like the sound of the new dimensions

Have any of you come across the new deal Ron Knigge reissue ?
If that is a good as it looks shape wise I'd buy 10

I'm still skating the last of the Rudy Johnson FUBK reissues I could find
If I could skate only that shape forever I'd be fine with that
I have only one left ..

starting to eye off a new shape to skate for a while..

I know for a fact blind is reissuing the footballs this fall with looney tunes graphics updated to their current team. Specifically the Jordan Richter, Chris Markovich, and Gabriel Rodriguez graphics. I am almost certain they are the same dimensions as the FUBK reissues.

Also looking at some new deal releases coming up.

Also, are you talking about this RK reissue?

Yep that's Ron K board I was talking about.
I'd love to be able to buy at least one in Australia before I start paying intl shipping tho

That shape looks pefect to me on screen  :-\

The FUBK rudy reissue ive been on is pretty similair to a love seat I guess

9 x 31.8 x 13.8wb

If they had that shape with the loony toon graphics i would of been stoked.

The Ilardi is 9.56 I'd love to but It's too big for me.
I dont want anything that require bigger trucks than 149's

Just coz I'm old, not very tall but still like to try n flip my board a fair bit.

I'd skate 215's and a Mutant egg or something heroin if I could but there's just no point I'd regress

Anyway I just felt like talking shapes..  :)

I just cant handle that small of wheel base, idk how y’all do it. But, that could be because I’m a pretty big dude.

Damn, they are different dimensions. I was too focused on getting the new reissue info/photos. I wish I would have looked up the fubk dims before posting that. Sorry y’all!

I’m so juiced on that sora deck, I wish the wb was 14.75 but I can definitely skate a 14.5 and I’m just being picky. Plus it’s the markovich 101 graphic, holy shit so gassed. But, as much of a chode as he is now, he was and still is absolutely unreal. His 360 flip over the flat gap in the beginning of right to skate is one of the sickest things I’ve ever seen.

And I’m right there with you dude, I can talk about eggs and shaped boards in general until the fucking cows come home.

I posted it a page or two back but my buddy just grabbed a mutant egg and got me a huffer and I’m so fucking gassed to skate that shape again.

New guy from Heroin.  Symmetrical 9.75 x 32 with a 15" wb.  Might be a little too big for my tastes, but @darkthrone seems like he's just printing money with these things now

Thanks lads. Wheelbase on that one is actually 14.25", just measured the production one.
It's going to be in the next Heroin catalog which drops Oct 14th.

I like the idea of the shorter wheelbase on the thanyan, if it means the tail will be a bit longer.

Agree, the wheelbase clarification made me pull the trigger on this one.  They sold out at SoCal pretty instantly but looks like there are still some on the Tactics website.  I imagine they'll start showing up other places in the next few days too...

The only other egg I’ve loved apart from any Heroin egg is the Tired Joel shape. I think it’s my favourite board I’ve skated in the last few years. With 149’s and small wheels it was a killer combo. I looked everywhere for one and found it on a random scooter/longboard site. I miss it so. (Sorry if I’ve banged on about this before)

I am looking for a egg shape for my homie, where the tail and nose are similar to a popsicle 8.25. For what width should I be looking for?

I think a egg 8.5 should taper to 8.25 towards nose and tail. But wanted to ask ya all pals.
