Hockey 8.4” egg looks sick.  BBS, quite pointy kicks

8.4 = what? ~8.25 over the trucks? 8" taper/nose?  Tiny.

Those kicks look long/skinny/pointy and gross.

Looks slightly over 8.0” over the trucks, but you could probably get away with 8.0” or 8.25” trucks.  The kicks remind me of the Cromer egg looking down at it.

i have it. it would definitely magic carpet. I was running it with Ace 60s and it was pretty even, not really hot rodding. board sits on its side perfectly. but I am getting 149s instead.

the egg is 8.5" at the trucks.
You'll be a bit off with 148s

Not Primitive but a Player 8.75 egg with 8.25 trucks (AF1 44) for reference.

i set up a 9.4 Space Egg.
i was looking for one a while ago and coulnt find it. so i coulnt help but get it when my local suddenly got one. the smallest board i've skated in the last 4 years. but its great fun. put on my old worn down OG classics again. i set up some bigger wheels before i went to japan last month, and i regretted it the whole trip. i dont think i can do over 50mm anymore..

no risers to make up for the tiny tail. but still it messes with me how short these tails are. i know i can get used to it cause i did on my old curbkillers too. but damn.
also no rails. maybe i'll put them on later if i miss them.

The Heroin 9.75 symmetrical egg is your answer if those short tails bother you. The kicks are perfect, imo.

i just come from the 9.75 its nice for sure. i wanted a even smaller board. the 9.5 symmetrical is also an option. but a bigger nose just looks better to me so i wanted to try this. if i can just get used to it and then stick to it theres no probelm. its more like the switching between long and short tails that fucks with me.

I didnt realise this board had such a short tail. Maybe the ace classics helped with it because it didn't bother me too much, idk.

I have one of these from last year. The short tail freaked me out too on paper, but its mellow and actually really well designed, assuming you have the right set up. It pairs really well with 149 thunders and 54mm(or under) wheels, classics especially so it feels light and nimble. If those specs are up your alley i think youll be pleasantly surprised
