Had both I preferred the deedz.   It skated more like an 8.25.     The soft had more taper and skated more like an 8.     Also the tail seemed a bit short.   The deedz is more like a popsicle, but the slight taper gives it some flavor.

Hey Guys, any one know the name of the shape of the pink deck or a similar one? Really wanted to try something like that in the same size 8.4 - 8.6
Thanks!

Sorry I don't know how to post youtube videos here, so I'll just post the link

Zero has released that shape a few times over the past 5 years or so now.  There was a “pride” egg https://www.warehouseskateboards.com/zero-skateboards-pride-egg-rainbow-stain-skateboard-deck-8.62x32?NewQuantity=1&NewItem=
And I had this Boserio one that I really enjoyed skating
https://www.skateamerica.com/products/zero-nick-boserio-brass-photo-issue-r7-skateboard-deck-orange-8-625in

Edit:  the relatively new-ish 917 genesis 8.6 deck is a very very similar shape, if you can’t find that exact Zero one

Thanks for the fast response! Of course non of the decks are to be found in Europe. Guess I'll have to go with something else.

To be fair, none seem to be available in the US right now either.  I was trying to say that they do get released every so often tho, so I imagine there are more on the way

Looks interesting.  A shop that ONLY seems to have egg or odd shaped decks.  Could the modern niche market of egg shaped boards becomes the new main board line as it did oh so many years ago?

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Grabbed one of these Visit eggs the other day when Gallant posted them. Came in last night. Not too shabby. 8.75 at widest, 8.25 at nose holes and 8.5 at tail holes. Those also could be swapped, I was kinda faded when I was measuring.

anyone got the wheelbase on this shape? been really interested

Anyone have the Space Egg and Very Big Eggs that can share how they differ and which you prefer? Obviously width and length difference, but would like to hear firsthand experiences.

This guy on instagram has both in the pic from the last page, so at least that would be a direct comparison.

He seems pretty good to talk to and responds to questions.

The space egg has the razortop, which just means that the ply on top of the board is sharp edged and not routed down or rounded off, which is ok for some but not for others.

Though I haven’t tried it, I wish it wasn’t razortop. Just the traditionalist in me. Might as well give it a go though.

It is meant to give the rider more foot space on the deck, but as you said, from the couple I have had pass through my hands, both were retired early because the top chipped up, one ridiculously so in the first session so I have not bought any more with that kind of top.

Why doesn't any ever mention Franky villani on these type threads? Dude skates a 9.125 pro model on primitive and has for years.its funny because most villani decks you see in shops are the more 8 inch traditional popsicle sizes. For the masses. His real shape is a tad harder to find. Was skating crailtap football shapes until recently.

Pretty consistently discussed throughout the 20 pages of this thread.

I believe I picked them up in an active sale for $30, but I currently setup a Prime wood Kris Markovich Circle K 8.1 egg shaped which I’m massively looking forward to skating.

I love his skating, hate his politics, but that’s neither here nor there as far as riding the decks.

I’m wondering without going back too far if any other companies offer a deck so skinny with an egg shape? I have a feeling this is gonna work out great for me.
