Got me these Heroins yesterday. Had to include the Emericas I got also.

These are my first egg shapes other than the Tim Gavin Blind reissue with the evil veterinarian graphic, which I didn’t skate that much. They’re way more work to skate than I thought, lol. Maybe 9.5 is past my limit. Also, does anyone notice any difference in functionality with Heroin’s “razor edge” in comparison to normal edged boards?

Here’s the one I set up after an hour session at the local parking garage. I know it’s symmetrical but I don’t like to treat em like that

Op, you ok man? Being real here, you doin alright?

heroin lovers, whats your favorite shape?
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Posted also on the 9"+ boards thread.

I bought this setup for my birthday on November 2nd but I couldn't skate until today.
- 9" Black Label Suffer: My first football shape but I felt confortable all along. I was doing ollies, manuals and fakie shove its only.
- Ace AF1 55: My first push was WTF is this! They felt really loose but got used to it after a minute. Now I love them!
- Spitfire F4 Radials 52mm 101d: Just... wheels.
- Bronson G2: Smooth.
- 1/8 Ace risers: Just... risers.
- Jessup grip (tail), generic and shitty clear grip from Murasaki Sports (middle), Shake Junt (nose)

spit og classics 55mm, rode down to about 50mm
thunder 151 team hollows
mixed bushings, mixed bearings, generic hardware
slab o' grip from Rampapalooza 11 up in St. Cloud Minnesota a couple weeks before, and torn up jessup

Got this Theories Nucleus shape in their black friday sale.  Dimensions are 8.75, 14.25wb
about 8.6 over front truck, 8.375 over back.
Crossposting this here because I think it's a nice egg shape I just got from Theories.

Get hungry on it!

i've wanted a Flyer shape (8.75"/ 14.25 WB)  slick for awhile. Just ordered with a BF deal. Prob set up with some Af1 55s and some smallish F4 101s to kill myself slipping out on curb /low ledge combos. 1992 here we come.

Heroin Emu Egg 9.125”
AF1 60 w Hard Bushings
SF F4 97 54mm
Bronson Raw

I normally run 58mms and risers but it didn’t quite feel right so I’m trying smaller wheels with no riser.
Just finished skating 3 love seats in a row and wanted a shape change, plus have been liking 14.5” wheelbases which is super weird considering I’m so short.

How do people like the enjoi Pilz 9.125 egg? I normally skate a 8.5 popsicle and I'm afraid that the Pilz would be too wide for me. I skated a 8.6 Adored football and 8.75 Polar football and loved both for what it's worth.

Not egg related but is there a new Mutant in the next drop? Love that shape and my current one is pretty beat up.

You an insider? Will they ever make something long wheelbase? Like a 15” minimum.

For a good pun they could name it “Daddy Long-eggs”  8)

No plans on having a a 15" WB, when most other brands make big boards they just scale up their existing shapes and they end up with a 9.0 popsicle that's 33" long with a 15" WB, I dig the functionality of the shorter WB's.
We only get to drop 10 boards a season, so it's hard to keep everyone happy and rotate enough into that to cater for everyone.

Every season we have a Mutant board, it's the Dead Dave Pro board, that's the shape that me and him worked on together. I'm working on a 9.5 or 9.8 version for Fall (July). That'll be a team board, just getting samples on that made up now.

Yeah, this is Fos, I own Heroin.

Wow that’s so cool you’re on slap! I had no idea who I was asking 😅

Yeah, I totally see what you’re saying. I’m riding the AH Orange Eagle 9”x33”. It’s a boat, length wise. But having the 15” wb finally made me feel I don’t have my legs tied together, and that I’m actually riding a skateboard meant for a grown man.

If only there were a symmetrical egg shaped board with 15” wb and mellow kicks in the 6,625”-6,75” range that would put it comfortably below the dreaded 33”.
It’d be a vert egg. Is it a dumb idea?

Haven’t been yet, and I’d love to go, but I’d have to bring my drill.
I have 6 hole 169’s and if I drill out the nose I’d be pretty damn close to my desired dims. Have any of you guys done it?
I’m afraid it’ll weaken the board. Not that I huck down stuff, but I’m big and imagine me ollieing excerts a lot of force on it.

I'm sure Dear Cult Leader appreciates your interest in the Huffer. However, re-drilling might not be acceptable, at least until you have given your first Huffer a mandatory 18 sessions, pre-modification.
