best roll up form
« on: September 16, 2018, 09:30:47 AM »
whos got the best form rolling up to a trick?

i think jon dicksons got a cool style, focused and still but not overdone.

also like jamie foy's - i like how he doesn't move his feet around much between tricks.

honorable mention obviously to gilbert crockett - not my cup of tea (too bow legged) but still nice to watch. I even like swan pablos and b3n kadow.

hbu?
I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

This perplexes the shit out of me. When someone just lands a trick and is suddenly ready for the next one with no more set up it just looks so professional.

Swan has one of the most forced/unnatural looking roll up and style, ben needs more footage, less slow mo face shots and slams

Totally, and I don't mean to dog on the kid either but he's not very good for all the attention he's getting. It's like they want him to be their Austin Stephens but at least that dude had a natural style.

Dylan and Austyn come to mind right away. A lot of really good ones already mentioned too, JJ, Busenitz, Cromer. Antwuan back in the early Deathwish days had a crazy chill approach. Diego has a good one too.

I do like Figgy's stare downs. Looks like he's got real turbulent unresolved issues with whatever rail he's about to hit.

Gilbert , Cromer , Heath, BA
All look like they are trying to set what’s in front of them on fire with their mind.

random thought sparked by this topic(prob already discussed)...When Andrew Reynolds does his board drop with his right hand instead of his left. Always stood out to me.

I always thought Leo Romero and Brian Herman had the most perfect looking form. Facing forward, weight on the front foot, etc.

But my favorite roll-up form is Jeremy Klein's. So fucked up

I sniff Jim Gagne's butthole all the time

carroll does this swimming motion w/ his hands that my friend explained meant 'get out the damn way' on a hollywood sidewalk enroute to kickflipping a sign.
that's my favorite one, carroll doing the butterfly stroke.
