Corey Duffel is 33 i'm not sure this is a really fair comparison. Wray probably would have been able to film two parts in 2008.

The only "bad" thing I've heard about Jeremy is that him and his brother are always down to drink. Skating wise I don't think there is much stopping him, other than a filmer that isn't a homie with a gopro

I wish he would actually follow through with it. I'm 100% sure he can still do it, and nearly 100% sure he won't follow through.

Look at someone like Dave Caddo. Gotta be roughly the same age and Dave consistently puts out a part every few years - while living in NYC and more than likely working a full time job. It's gotta be way easier out on the west coast.

Has anyone mentioned a feature in the next Bronze video? J Wray skating some east cost spots with the magic of P Sidlauskas would showcase his legendary status to anyone who doesn't already know

yeah. its seems like whenever someone makes announcements like this there is a 99% chance of it not happening.

take a page out of chicos instagram and just skate every day instead of saying you are going to.

I'm going to take him at his word that Element sat on him. They've done similar to a bunch of riders and acted like they were barely a skateboard company for 10 odd years.

I agree with Allen's post to a point but I also wonder if he's reluctant to take the risks associated with a real banger part if he doesn't have some kind of assurance it's going to help put food on the table. I guess that's not a very pure or artistic way to approach a video but it might make some sense at his age.

I love his skating as much as the next guy but he clearly has a victim complex, and that does you no favors. As people have said there’s obviously stuff behind the scenes that we’re unaware of which has led to the perpetual lack of support from the industry in the past 15 years. Something doesn’t add up.

I truly love Gino as much as the next guy, but he barely puts out anything and has a board on a 'cool' brand.

And than you have people like Creager and Wray, two dudes that are still willing to put out stuff and who literally lifted skateboarding to a next level (Creager techwise, Wray went bigger than anyone) that are struggling to get boards...

Creager should have been on almost since it's inception all along, it was under dwindle, he would fit so well on that team. But Almost ended up being a carwreack from the start?. Great skaters, but they wenty absolutely nowhere with their image.

And Wray should have a deck on FA. Pretty sure they'd sell pretty well if Wray came out with a good ad and clips.

Skateboarding in 2018 is fucked up.

Maybe he has no sponsors because most who started skating in the last 10 years don't know who he is. How can you market a face that the newer generations don't care about

Actually skating something other than a skatepark would be a good start.

And we're sure he isn't just posting a new year's resolution like all the other people (mostly man ams who didn't launch) who have posted similar things?

Caddo is 39 and Wray is 43. Those four years is actually a big difference at that age. Caddo is still out there whereas Wray was posting a trick a day for 365 days at a skatepark (which he has deleted, thank god). Nevertheless Wray is a Legend but for him to post the whole comeback thing is a little silly.

HBO should redo Eastbound & Down and make it about a former pro-skateboard and their lukewarm attempts to return to the pro-ranks.

Nobody took care of him when he was one of the 10 best skaters in the world. He's not one of the ten best anymore. He still rips, but the dream is obviously over.
