I’m pretty sure Dustin has been a key part of editing and production since Bake and Destroy when he was injured. I remember in an interview with Greco that it was mostly them editing The Deathwish Video. They’ll probably keep his name on a board just out of loyalty and paying him is probably like paying a bakerboy employee.
Figgy is such a weird example of a modern pro because it seems like he just drops massive parts every 4-5 years without much footage in between.
Cyril Jackson was someone who got so much hype as an am and then people stopped caring when he turned pro. Kids seem to love him, which makes us wonder why Baker even needs to send Theotis a check.
Still weird there was never a pro part from Dee. I really like all his Supra footage, but I’m still waiting for something that makes me believe this guy is distinct enough for someone to want his name on a board.
Got nothing but love for Nuge and Baca but did they even have tricks in the Converse video? I don’t think either will have a full part again and neither are drawing anybody in.
Everyone else is either full legend status, has a draw, is the future, or TK.
The only thing I can think of for Donta Hill is that they see something in him to have the the potential for the mix of power and style down a rail, but they’re too busy having him Train as a boxer so he can one day knock out Terry, cover it up by pinning it on his never ending domestic and gang troubles, and they can be off the hook of keeping their first? AM.
