Baker 4 stands in the shadow of baker 3. This shit was boring and bland. Some of the enders were noticeably weak.

This movie did not at all live up to its hype. Really don't care if people call this a classic. Anyone that calls this a classic should just go watch baker 3. That video is so obviously better.

Only part that I was kinda enjoying was Jacopo's at first until I saw the same spot like 5 times.
For me there are 2 kind of videos: the ones that make you want to skate and the ones that you're constantly checking how much time is left and when is finally over you feel like watching The Simpsons afterwards.
For sure I won't ever see this one again, maybe only Hawk part because of Nirvana.

video feels really good once you hit reynolds part. all the editing from that point forward is very good.

herman skating to ariel pink is so so random but bc of the way that transitions to stella to elisa, i can see why they would use it.

the OGs all killed it and had great parts but felt like all the new kids dont let beagle film hijinx or something and that dragged an otherwise great video down. or maybe theyre just really boring. they couldve made all the new kids share a part because they didnt have the footage to justify full ones imo, or at least shrink them down to the size of szafranski's part in baker 3. also the editing and song selection made the kids parts feel very slow. there are like specific chunks of songs that might be worth using for a short instagram clip but dont work in a full part, like in tyson's and zach allen's parts. also the high fiving in their parts was bordering on pretty sweet territory..... they could've easily put in a deathwish section bc the kids parts felt like web clips for thrasher.

i think what hurts this vid is that a lot of the good stuff was used in other vids or wasnt filmed in the correct format. but i mean what do you do, not release it for another year?

I loved it.

Not really any point during that video I felt it dragged on for my taste personally. The only part I could probably skip on next watch was Tyson’s. Don’t know why but his part just didn’t do much for me. Still wasn’t bad though.
My favorites were Kader, Tfunk Jacopo, Reynolds, and Figgy. Dickson’s trick in Figgys part was sick, cannot get enough footage of that guy. My favorite style in the game right now.
Respect to Baca. I think being put in the category of “milking it” for awhile now lit a fire under his ass to put a great part, and he did just that. 
Lastly, I feel I may get bullied for this, but to my surprise, I actually thought Zachs part was not half bad.

Taking a break at the hour mark. Skating is great. Editing is shit, did they have Strobek film it or is Beagle biting the worst filming style of all time. Too much slow-mo and face zooms.

And why have named parts when everyone is in everyone else's part?

Didn't feel Baker at all but Spanky killed it, Dollin too, and Theo way better then expected.

Had some more time to soak on it and I do agree about the emotional (feeling) it had. But that emotion came from the old guard and the sadness of time passing. The sadness of knowing all good things must end. There was little to no feeling from the new kids. I feel the team themselves didnt respect the brand (Apart from Baca) and it looked like they filmed the majority of their shit in the last 6-12 months, the main event being that day at the nine stair. Baca to me was always treated like a hanger on, and this made him hungry to prove himself. To see him shine above most in this video is a powerful high point. Im actually bummed that I was right about Kader being hot air, one of those occasions you talk shit but secretly hope to be bitchslapped into submission. I appreciate Baker 4 being in my life, but its the end of an era for sure. I can see why Prod went to Brazil to find the next killer crew, those guys arent entitled and ruined by hype, they are hungry and let their skating do the talking (maybe also because they cant talk english). Same story with the new Japanese skaters killing it. The hollywood big money hype era is over, the meek shall inherit the wood.
