This is my opinion but I feel like the majority of everyone that posts on Slap are taking in and digesting so many skate clips/videos every single day, just so much skating, and we're absolutely desensitized to it. I wonder what a kid would think of this video if they never saw a skate video but stumbled on it on Pornhub and watched the entire thing. I would venture (no pun) to say they'd be stoked or even just think to themselves "whoa that's pretty cool" or "that looks fun" - I could picture myself seeing this vid as a youth and getting into skating through it or having it motivate me to go out and skate. Sure Baker has changed, skating has changed, we watched it change before our eyes. We watch it change every single day. With that being said, most people that post here know the ins and outs so/how things were then and how they are now. Yeah, it's a different Baker than 14 years ago, but if we look at the bigger picture, it's still good skating by a good team and will still inspire some youngins to ask for their first board from Santa. The old heads still crushed and the younger dudes all had subjectively good parts, even if there were some we personally aren't all stoked on. It's all personal preference, but I think as a skate video, Baker 4 serves its purpose.
Also, imagine if the leak is b-roll troll footy and the real vid drops when it drops. Clearly not the case but would set the hijinx meter into the red zone
