Finally watched this. First time I’ve ever screen mirrored Pornhub onto to my TV with my wife intentionally.

Great feel good video. Felt like a pro/homies video which is true to Baker videos. Good skating good vibes. What I would expect from a grown up Baker. I don’t get people my age having any issue with this video. If you’re 31 and and grew up on Baker, seeing Reynolds Herm Elissa Ellington still skating together should bring a tear your eye, and the new kids are ripping.

Liked the video, not the best vid of the year in terms of blowing your mind with NBD tricks over big sets of stairs, but you can tell Baker videos got a special flavor. The raw skateboarding + hijinx combo still works for me, maybe I’m a bit nostalgic because I grew up watching Baker videos

Yep it was a gnarly part as I said in my last post. Always loved Dollin. Bought dotted shirts when I was 15 ´cause of him. And a lot of Vans too.

I also said he looked washed out / tired, yes. I don’t care if he drinks. People do what they want. Dustin seems to be a good guy. Always spreading a good vibe. But hey, he gotta take care of himself. The dude took a lot of bad slams too... My father use to drink a lot (with friends, having good time, not in a self-destructive way)and what alcohol can do to your body is bad.

(But now I am relieved : after writing my previous post I went on his Instagram, and I saw he got a « Carte Vitale », the French national healthcare system card. That means a most of his medical bills will now be (partially) covered. He can now front heel into steeper banks.)

Had watched it part by part and wasnt feeling it that much. The skating was great for the most part throughout tho.

Finally watching it in its entirety start to finish and really enjoyed it. Definitely the way it should be watched.

I think less hijinxs lended itself well actually. Everything sorta flowing part to part with minimal b roll makes the video better as a whole. You can like Baker and 3. And 4. Some of the filming was a bit meh.

Tysons part suprised me. As did the last 1/4 of dollins. And the amount of.reyonlds. herman was suprising to see in that capacity and was enjoyable to watch.

Knew spanky would come.through but damn not like that hands down my favorite part. Figgy killed it. Tony's son too. Zorilla was dope. Hill bomb was fucked. Tfunks part was ridiculous..tysons in some ways too.

Zach allen I could have did without. Kader ripped but not my cup of tea.

Stella and Ellisa was dope. Elissa dresses like my grandma but in a rad way. Enjoyed her stuff. No comply wallride thing was tight.


Probbaly missed some dudes.

Overall enjoyed it. Alot of shit missing from older videos vibe wise. Ali was cool to see. And that eating the plane clip was perfect. Some of the filming was too much for me. The lifestyle shots or whatever your wanna call em. Could definitely pick the filming apart from older videos easy. But as a video I liked it. Nothing groundbreaking but great for skateboard movies still. One of the better movies I've seen in the last decade+.

The thing that I don’t think everyone is putting their finger on but is nagging at them is that this video finally drives home that the era of the video star skater has come to an end. That’s the nagging feeling that no one has verbalized yet.

When skate videos first blew up it was because it was epic to see what your favorite skater was capable of outside of a contest environment and it turns out is was a hell of a lot more.  It stayed that way for three decades...until this video.

There is almost nothing in this video (other than spot specific drops/gaps etc.) that the modern  contest kids couldn’t couldn’t do in their warm up run. I do get that they weren’t going for the most groundbreaking  thing on purpose but still... 13 fucking years

The contest level skateboarding has finally caught up to the video pro level skateboarding, at least in this case. Cognitive dissonance runs wild... video killed video stars.

wow that is really really cheap a gal is almost 4 L (right?), in most parts in western europe gas is like 1,30 - 1,60 € per L, so a gallon would be 5,20 - 6,40 € / gal
