That guy is fuckin done. I'd scan it if i had a scanner but it's basically 2 pages long and its asking him about guitar and shit. He only has one trick in it, a sequence of a hab cab flip boardslide (the way he always does them), and then before the interview there's just a big photo of that same trick from that same sequence.

who someone should just sponsor in hopes that he'll get back to it. How is he doing on the money. If he's well to do it might be harder for him to want to come back but if gets broke he might consider coming back.

i recall an article probably a year ago and ewan bowman (flip filmer) was saying bastien was sitting on so much insane footage for the next flip video. hoping it somehow finds its way into the flip video or something.what a waste of a natural talent

i thought the interview was dope as hell, its cool to see hes still skating and didn't just give up on it, of coarse some one who doesn't skate for a living any more isn't going to have a 12 page interview.

In my experience when people get serious about guitar the skating goes because they start to worry about their hands and don't want to fall on them anymore.

that is very true for most, i spent 2 years taking it easy so i could go home and jam at the end of the day, i still get scared that im going to jack my hands or my wrists.

My personal take on the "guitar thing" is that Bastien knew he could take himself to higher levels of fame with the guitar. He conquered skateboarding and knew skateboarding was a limited market. He wanted to cross all demographics for maximum exposure and max. cash. He would also have thousands of fans so he would no longer have to cheer himself on...

....Or maybe he just got really into drugs

I read some where that Bastien was confirmed for Tampa Pro 2007... Also, he was on JRog's Firsthand on Fuel TV playing skate with JRog and Sheckler. I really hope he isn't done for, dude has too much of a talent.
