I tore my acl/mcl/pcl

I'm lucky I can walk. My skating days are left to pushing, and on REALLY good days, I can kickflip and ollie up curbs.

But any slam could easily take me out fo' life

Oh FFS dude. There's people with no legs that skate every goddamn day. Shut the hell up.

You suck so bad. Coming into a thread about dealing with injury telling someone to suck it up. You are truly the worst poster with the shittiest attitude.

Stay up, hurt people.

Ha, fuck off. "take me out for life boo hoo" you fucking chose to skate lol. Candy ass mfers.

I'd rather deal with my leg injury than your mental issues.

Not to circle jerk, but that was good.

I don’t care what anyone says, a tit mouse’s tibia is a thing of beauty.

Had cartilage replaced, back when having it replaced was a new surgery. Had two surgeries and now I have someone else's cartilage in my knee. Lost a lot of spring, and ten years later it feels closer to normal after I started building strength back into the leg. On cold days, or days it generally just feels weak, I swear I can feel that little piece in my knee.

Hardest part, was going from always being active, to constantly limping, then having surgery and not being able to walk without assistance for six months, and then not being able to do more than walk for rest of the year (it's now a shorter process). I took it pretty bad, but I was also dealing with other things.

Highly suggest getting a hobby. Don't know what recovery/rehab takes for torn ACL, but definitely find something to do off board. Don't get comfortable with those pain pills they give you. Stay away from the alcoholic beverages, as it affects recovery/ rehab.

Very solid advice.

Opiates def stay away.

And many people dont realize just how much alcohol delays your recovery from an injury

And yeah, I can feel the weather change in my leg too lol. oldman problems lol

I still skate after 3 ACLs and multiple meniscus. Arthritis is what’s coming for me now though. They’ve been telling me it would since the first one or second. I have tons of fun skating low impact still.
