New Real twins with interesting dims on the Nicole:
https://www.homeskateshop.com/products/nicole-high-roller

Ishod:
https://www.homeskateshop.com/products/ishod-grille-ltd?_pos=3&_sid=fb7af26fe&_ss=r&variant=50375695696157

Width: 8.35" / Length: 32" / Wheelbase: 14.5"

def interesting...still not for me, but probably better than the baker 8.3 twin shape-wise.

Lizard skateboards has some 8.5 twins up (just dbl check the description for symmetrical:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?item=257055433530&rt=nc&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211&_ssn=cantwaittoski

Fully vouch for build quality/durability, my 8.75 eggcicle is still going strong.

I nabbed one of these 8.5s since I run the Foy twin a lot...and with decks creaping up to $90 it's tough for me to not support a super small skater run outfit with $45 bloards (including shipping) that rival the BBS/HLC/ETC...AND say you like  shape they make but want a diff WB? They got you covered (you just have to wait/pay upfront).

Width 8.5”
Length 32.0”
Wheelbase 14.25”
Nose 6.9”
Tail 6.9”
Medium Concave
Symmetrical Shape
100% Made in U.S.A. With Hard Rock Maple
Lizard Skateboards

Real and other listings I've seen have the new Nicole twin at
Width: 8.35" / Length: 32" / Wheelbase: 14.15"

Huh, wonder if Lizard makes an 8.38. I emailed 3rd Lair a while back re their shop twins they sell in 8.25, 8.38,and 8.5 but they don't list WB/length/concave. Didn't get a response.

Hause Twin Nose 8.5 from the top:

And the 8.25:

Very square kicks compared to the 8.0/8.25/8.3 Ishods.

Finally got around to snagging the 8.5" the kicks are massive, very quasi/FA and quite like the Habitat twin kicks. I was sent a III and it's pretty steep kick-wise but wide enought to where I don't really feel the concave; we'll see how flip tricks go as I'm a fanof the easy rider concave (which would be amazing on this shape). Measures true all around and while I'm not fan of the graphic (I prefer symmetrical graphics on my twins but w/e) it looks much better in person with the silver foil.

How are you liking those wheels?  I saw they released them in 50mm now and was thinking about giving them a shot.  Like everyone, I've been on formula 4 for forever.

Riding the 50mm, they're great, much prefer them over the x99s; the x97s slide better but also break free easier. Patiently waiting for the revised x97 formula or spit to drop some soft slider 97s.

Size-wise, I don't need a big hesh wheel / I'm not bombing hills. Only caveat is a bluntslide of any kind is hit or miss compared to a spit 99/101 or STF 101.

They sound good.  I think I'm gonna give them a shot.  Just hoping they don't make the deck sound soft when it snaps like soft wheels do.

Not a fan of the graphics at all, but USA made... so probably South Central or Quincy... Huge selection of sizes as well.

Rare 8.0 twin (also 8.25)

https://terrorofplanetx.com/products/topx-nightmare?variant=43616723828783

Look like south central twins, especially with those dims & Stain choices... however I could be wrong...

Opera 8.25 symmetrical shape. I’m excited to try this out. Sometimes I’m trying stall variation tricks and I wish I had a bigger tail for certain things. I’ve also always wanted to skate a board backwards but don’t like the idea of having a smaller nose (even tho I’ve def skated shaped boards like that).

The website says :
Fuller nose and tail with symmetrical shape
8.25 x 31.9  WB: 14.0

Those kicks look lengthy more like noses but could be distortion in the photo. Maybe I'm just seeing things. Are they steep? How's the concave?

Yeah it looks more like noses and the description says fuller nose and tail . The kick isn’t too steep. Concave seems mellow but I just set it up while I had some down time at work, I really haven’t had time to look at it too closely or stand on it. If I put my fingers at the bolts it has a nice gap of flat (the two finger test Dr Schmitt has talked about).

The board feels good so far. I typically prefer pointier tapered noses but everything feels fine with this board so far.

New G011 shape twin from Girl, Malto pro model. All search results show it as 8.3"x31.875"
https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Girl_Malto_Double_OG_TWIN_TIP_Deck/descpage-GISMDOGDK.html
Despite every site calling it a twin, the shops that actually post nose/tail have the dims at 7" and 6.3". And uh, wheelbase is either 13.75 or 14.25 depending which shop site you're at. (Of course the Crailtap site is no help.)

Also new G080 twin shape in 8": https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Girl_Bennett_Double_OG_TWIN_TIP_Deck/descpage-GINBDODK.html

Couple new graphics for G069 and G096 too.

Looks like these are all BBS now so it'll be interesting to see how they skate.

Was immediately stoked when seeing the 8.3, as the G069 is the second best twin I've been on and remains a go-to. My only issue is it's always felt a touch narrow for a 8.25 but that was never enough to keep me from skating 3 of them so far.

Anyway I'll definitely be inquiring on the actual WB and nose/tail lengths and will post any info I get.

Literally came here to post this. It's def a twin (top and bottom graphic go both ways) so the nose/tail misprint are probably just that, shops using the G016 shape dims (which is weird as that's not even what Maltodextrin skates).

These MF's man, why are twin WBs getting SMALLER...I just want a 14.25WB on an 8.3x twin...some of the 8.3/8.4 twins have the dumbest fucking WBs...13.88, 14.15 (on an 8.35)...so bizzare; but kudos to the board companies for caring about what the riders want and props to the riders for not worrying about dims that will sell to a wide audience.

That was my thought as they've done that graphic for years now exclusively for the twin. Dimensions are printed on the top ply of the Chocolate Perez G069, you can see them in the photo at Tactics. The pic at SW is frustratingly too low res to read but they're printed on the new G011 Malto too. One would think the dims on the deck could be accurately copied to the text in the description but apparently wires got crossed somewhere.

Yea the 14" wb is a touch too narrow so rather than wait on them to make a bigger wb I'm going to give Venture forged a shot to push out the wb. An 8.3 width of the g069 is the dream for me. Wonder if there are any differences other than width and apparently wheelbase going from G069 --> G011. The woodshop change likely makes a difference but it's BBS so  that's a positive.

Edit: Seeing a couple shops post 13.75" for wb and 6.96/6.97" kicks for the G011, up from the 6.84 kicks on the G069. That would explain the 0.25" drop from the typical 14" wb. So this might feel ever so closer to a twin nose than the hybrid the G069 is based on.

Been Riding the Zach Doelling Pro shape Flight Deck. First Twin ever and at least with this one, I miss nothing its just fine like its good nose tricks and pops still feel like i am going off a nose and tail tricks and pops feel like I am going off a tail. I think I will have to stay with this shape for a long long time.
