Agreed. I respect the fact that hes sober and all but god damn. CHILLLLL
But why respect someone for that. I have more respect for people who know when to stop, when enough is enough. Idk just seems like that's something you're supposed to do
I think sometimes its admirable in some cases for someone to finally get a hold on a problem that caused them to not live a full life. But that's within reason. I too used to follow that dude a couple years ago, but it also became too much for me. When you are getting sober, and you're the type of person where it's a battle every day you really have to speak to yourself constantly and remind yourself that you are on a new path and to not forget what you are trying to achieve so I get that, it's kind of like the more someone talks about it they more they fill responsible to themselves to live up to the message they are putting out which can help them stay clean.
But I also think it's important to not to preach and to also remind yourself that it's you taking that path, not everyone else in your life.
