This was fun to watch.  I didn't hate Blessed, but these dudes look much better without the Strobeck zoom all the time.  And the team showed off their depth since they made this with TJ, Nak, Caleb, Piscopo, Berle, and Beatrice on the bench.  Always glad to see more Sage and KB.

Skill wise obviously Louie is amazing, but I’ve never considered him a stylish skater and I’m surprised that some of yall do. To me he’s one of those textbook, perfect, so clean it borders on boring dudes. Sage, KB, even aged Gino and Dill, TJ, some other FA dudes who’s name I don’t know... the way they do their tricks grab my attention more. I remember being confused when yall wanted him to be SOTY if not Tiago the other year. Louie is smooth but his skating doesn’t move me like that.

I disagree. His skating is on point, he skates fast and he flows. In this one line that starts 7:58 for example he makes a regular innter city block in Germany look like a perfect spot in Barcelona. He comes up with good lines, has a great trick selection and has pop and power for days.

Obviously Louie is a superhuman skater, but I don't think it's wild for someone to say they don't enjoy his style. For me I think it comes down to him still being a small little guy, or at least skating like one

He's never gonna give you the Reese/BA/AVE "skates like a man" vibe, powering their hulk through a ledge, stomping a 360 flip with the Kraken's fury

Did you even watch that clip? Louie is bigger than AVE and he can and does stomp some of his tricks with Krakens fury.

Also Reese/BA/AVE are some of my favorite skaters of all time, but they are old and unfortunately are not gonna be able to give us that much more of their stylish skating.

People let nostalgia, fashion hype and image cloud their judgement of skate style!
