Huf - 193 employees, as per https://www.linkedin.com/company/huf

Sole Tech - 255 employees, as per https://www.linkedin.com/company/sole-technology

But yeah, Supra having 200 employees, totally ridiculous and unprecedented.
[close]

Did you not just set precedence with the first two lines?   Even thought Sole Tech has four companies.

And yet NB# has 20-ish.
[close]

NB# reaches skate only, Supra reaches skate and lifestyle.

Comparing all of NB to supra would have made more sense.
[close]

That doesn't make any sense to me.  You could compare to NB to K-swiss, but why would you.
[close]

I'm just saying that if you're comparing the two, you are only comparing a division of new balance to the entirety of supra.

Supra focuses on more than skateboarding so it would make sense that they have more employees than new balance.

Numeric also doesn't have to deal with all of the manufacturing the same way supra does so really their total number of employees would just be team, media, and designer most likely.

woah Ben Grove was in this. I liked his part from blueprint's lost and found but that's literally the only thing that I know him from.

RIP! I love seeing Muska and Penny still getting tricks in. Spencer is a fucking beast! So good. Supra has always had a great team. I've just never liked any of their shoes. As much as I love Muska I could never rock those skytops. Owned one pair of Dixion's. Horrible shoe. lol I remember getting a raise and treating myself. So disappointed. lol

I had a blue pair of Dixons and I loved them until 3 days later when they completely fell apart. Supra kinda wasn't a good company.

Feels kind of like an insult that Li'l Wayne isn't swooping in and buying it to resurrect the brand with his unique take on skate shoe design.

I hope so, I'd be bummed putting out (in my opinion) a good looking pro shoe then having the company tank soon after. Gonna miss the cubas, best slip-on skate shoe I've found so far

Only time I've ever seen Supra in real life was in NZ in 2010, these raver club types wearing supra skytop, Indy shirts, DC hats but did not skate. Just fashion

Came here to post the above. Looking more and more likely that they are done.

That shoe looks terrible, like the kind of hard soled, inflexible, cheap 'skate' shoe you'd find at a budget retailer like big w or kmart or whatever cheap department store they have in your country.

No wonder they are going out of business.
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?

Awk shit. This post does not a happy poor alice make.
The uncertainty in his post really makes me wonder what the hell is going on. Of all riders, I would have thought of Muska as being quite clued in / more involved with Supra overall but from what he's saying it seems they are in the dark as to the fate of the brand.
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

I don't understand why some of you don't comprehend this.   Everyone was fired.  They're done, for now at least.  If the shoes were already through production, and they think they won't lose money releasing them, they will.

I'm sure k-swiss isn't keeping anyone on the loop with what's happening. The whole thing seems like a complete shit show.

When I was working at a shop a couple years ago we got sent out of season kr3w clothing to sell in our sale section. I guess we never paid for the clothing and then kr3w went out of business the next week. Never heard back from kr3w or anyone

so if krew is gone, the ghetto child reboot didn't work out AND supra is gone, penny is looking a little light on sponsors.

lucky that flip is going from strength to strength.
