If you say Candyland 3 times in the mirror, Bill appears behind you with White Claws and a pack of condoms.

I was impressed. Tyshawn's switch inward heel down those stairs may have been the best switch inward heelflip ever done.

first trick.

i tried watching it but im too tired after a long day to actually try and follow whats happening on the screen, filming was wayyy too close and all over the place for me. ill try again tomorrow because i know how good the team is. It seems like Fat Bill is overly focused on the skater himself and not the skating/spot, which i guess works for a company look book or something, but as a skater watching it was way too harsh.
as of now, Ty and Bill should take a time out from filming skating, they lost the main idea and are too caught up in bullshit. its disrespectful to skating and to the skaters involved. its almost like a newspaper photographer shooting skating and framing a skater in the sky with no context, i want to see the spot and the skater when im watching a video. no one would mind if he used this technique in moderation, but its way over done and almost ridiculous

thats actually spot on, but its meant to be ironic, you know, like some of their gear and the prices they charge for it. you just dont get it.

sometimes i`m glad we got stuff like "we are blood" and bills new stuff, it makes me appreciate everything in between a little more. its just sad that theres so much outstanding skating just completely lost thanks to ... "interesting" takes in filming and editing.

Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins were fantastic.  SF hill skating is insane.  The fawning over Kader continues to baffle me.

Filming might have been a bit too close on this one but it was still so fucking dope. The GX dudes are straight up thugs. City of San Francisco for SOTY

making a video that mostly features kids under 18 called 'candyland' feels, i don't know, gross. something feels off about it

It’s also the name of one of the plantations in Django Unchained

The whole team is looking crusty as hell and SF looks like a shithole, half of the people tech workers and the other half homeless and drug addicts.

Well the best skatespots in SF are in the financial and downtown districts

I felt way better about this than I did Blessed but then I thought some of the skating is Blessed is all time. Still, Blessed was so clearly a half-way look book and I felt like a herb for buying it.

But seriously for the love of god you're the main filmer for a company with billion dollar backing figure out your fucking framerates. That judder is not an aesthetic and it, more than any other of FB's quirks, just wrecks the footage.

Kader is so good and I am some percentage more psyched for Baker 4 than I was yesterday.
them cats are out getting mashed up to jungle, he's out mashing up jungle cats. it's just not gonna work.

The good:
The Kader footage was rad.The nollie heel on flat after a hammer (the crook possibly?) had more than abit of lavar too it.
I wasn't much of a Kader fan before but I 'get it' now.
I liked the GX inclusion and it didn't feel as forced as I thought it might.
First trans skater in a legit production?
Music was for the most part really good.
sean greene ollie the curb cuts was fucked. I was even impressed on the first one that he managed to get his back foot of to brake while going that fast. taking a foot off should have just forced him to lose control, surely.

The bad:
Majority of the NY footage should have been left out, it fucked up the flow.
bills super zoom, obvs.
Ministry's 'one fix' was used in a green apple video- A mike Mcdermott section. And it worked waaayy better then. (my only music complaint)

The ugly:
I hate to say it because the amount of stick he gets is immense but fuck, man. Kadow's pre and post trick faces, exaggerated straight leg and hunched shoulder landing/spasms and his desire to look 'whacky/ironic' (mall grab run on, yeesh) all just serve more fodder for the hate. It seems like he's given up on pushing himself and just want's to troll his detractors and is constantly trying to elaborate on the Kadow 'myth'.
Jason Dill isn't funny and might be a nonce.

With that last hillbomb the video should have been called "Risk" instead of Candyland.

I hated the filming, but complaining at this point is just a Trivial Pursuit.

Loved Aiden's half-Cab manny Twister, but the video overall hurt my Cranium (Fat Bill is Balderdash).

That was the most interesting video I've watched in ages.
High rewatch value, lot's going on, made me feel like I was there with em.
