Had this deck back in the day. Really stood out on the wall at the shop. Alien art was always amazing, plus Lennie was sick, so it was an instant grab. If they reissued it I’d buy 2 no questions asked.

Had this deck back in the day. Really stood out on the wall at the shop. Alien art was always amazing, plus Lennie was sick, so it was an instant grab. If they reissued it I’d buy 2 no questions asked.

I was pondering getting that on my leg, but went with the angel. I didn't think the colors would have come out right. I still may do it (Just black outlines). Also aiming some O'Connor Habitat shit at some point too. That's one of my fave graphics of all time. I'd buy however many I could (then be grounded by my wife)

A few years ago when I was talking to workshop for some of my designs (they never made it), I was also mailing back and forth with Lennie’s wife (or gf?) and there REALLY was a plan to reissue some decks. They were supposed to drop with the “heaven” book.

He was still in jail then, and it never happened ...

Maybe now?

I posted an old Lennie ad to my instagram stories and a friend of mine replied and told me this story:

"My friend Brandon went to a Christian skate camp in Hope B.C. around 97-98, I think. Lennie was one of the counsellors. Brandon was pooping when Lennie started yelling through the door about covering the seat properly. He made him pinch it off and let him in so Lennie could cover the seat one square of TP at a time, each square was to be folded twice."

Definitely one of the best Lennie Kirk stories I've ever heard.

Lennie’s Instagram is exactly what I’d expect it to be and more. Dude’s last stint in the clink was 8 years and he comes out still busting switch back 5-0’s like it’s nothing, crazy style fully intact. The man just has it, god bless him lol.

he mastered spanish and joined the mexican gang in prison. that's pretty sick in of itself. he might have a weird kind of genius/person disorder. he doesn't come across as a man of letters but he can kind of adapt to any situation or a lot of them anyways.
