Yeah, 13$ for some grip is a lot but I like to support pros that I like .
Then why wouldn’t you buy their pro model instead of a mini logo?

I would say that they see more from a pro deck purchase than a pro sheet of grip. If you really want to support the grip will make the least amount of contribution

@ ItsNoUse, I had some down time this afternoon so I re-worked the complete keeping in mind what your percieved preferences were on the link you first sent.

https://www.skatewarehouse.com/buildcomplete.html#deck=BKRRBBNNMDK&trucks=TURHTRSISIJ&wheels=SFTB1WHWH52&bearings=BSREDBR&hardware=INALMH2&griptape=JSGT

Swapped the ML for a Baker Reynolds, almost the same dims. Thunders are great. Swapped 53mm F4 Lock Ins for 52mm Tablets, in my experience having a wheel that is asymmetrical was kind of a pain and Tablets offer the same "locked in" feel and are able to be rotated to combat coning. Swapped Swiss for Reds, if you're just getting back into it reds are still fast and last a while even at that low price point. Swapped Shake Junt for Jessup because it's cheap but great griptape.  Swapped the Diamond allen hardware for Indy allen hardware because there's no need to pay an extra couple dollars because Diamond wants to go all out on their packaging. And at a savings of ~$25 compared to the original set up you created.

We're both just random people on a forum but I figured I'd throw out an alternative suggestion.

I think it looks like that because the board is not standing completely upright and is also a little tilted. To me it even looks like the board tapers in the middle. Guess its the picture.

Love the sfws but if they came in an F4 formula they'd be the best wheels on the market.

Great setup.  I fully back the 8.5 axle width trucks on an 8.25 deck. I recently battled OCD tendencies to move away from an 8.25 axle truck (indy 144) to an 8.5 (indy 149), but man does it feel perfect.

same. could never get comfortable on 8.25 trucks. I'm sure I'll try again but 149/5.8 always felt best to me on an 8.25.

Thanks! First time skating ventures and they sisnt have 5.6 in my country but I think this is better, I'm also coming from 151s so I think it's good for me. Gonna skate it first time tomorrow and I'm curious about the wheels since I'm coming from 99a f4s these might feel plasticky but I'll see

What’s the wheel base on that polar? I’m just curious about what wheel base people with ventures go for.

So good to hear. I just ordered a 8.25 Traffic board and I just fell in love with my 5.8's after a decent bout with truck madness.

I'm not a fan of the swirl wheels, but that's just me being nitpicking and biased.

The Spitfire Formula 4 Classic Ember 99a Wheels is a good choice too, but Conicals rock.

seeing both in the shop I couldn't pull the trigger on 5.6s when I got a pair. though if I was skating 8.125s and 8.25s I probably would've.
5.8 just feels right on an 8.25 to me, especially the squared ps shapes.

Rule of thumb I just made up, if you don't plan to go bigger than 8.38, get 5.6s. If you don't plan to go under 8.25, get 5.8s. If both are true, it doesn't matter much at all.
