Santa Cruz 8.375 x 32 x 14.5 - China wood
Theeve tiax2 5.8
Formula 4 radial slim 53mm 101a
FAG bearings
Diamond hardware
Modus perforated grip

this board is huge compared to what i am used to riding, but the one session i've had so far went surprisingly well, i was actually flipping it far more consistently than my previous setup
never heard of that bearing co. are those FAGs doing you right? a review of their performance would be nice
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

they're just good quality generic 608RS bearings from a bearing shop.  they're no better or worse than any other set of bearings at their price point, like reds or whatever.  i probably wouldn't buy them again, but i also have no complaints.

AH Brown Bomber 8.86" (II concave)
V-Light 5.8 (flat top washer)
53mm 99 F4 Classics
Modus risers and hardware
Reds & Jessup

Took this for a quick skate to a local beer spot and stopped to slappy some parking blocks on the way. Always been iffy about this set of Ventures (probably bc forged plates) but they feel really great on this setup, particularly with the risers and flat washers.

The Ishod twin tail has the 2 tone veneer too, very pretty. Too bad I'm struggling to ride such a big board.

Next seasons Real boards are looking great so far. You can check their graphics off their IG. The graphics they had in the mid 2010s were pretty horrible..

To me the bomber felt so small, even though the width is okay the short we makes it feel much smaller than it actually is to me.

With the v-light 5.8s its the same axel-axel WB as my 14.75" WB football with Indys, so while shorter than my other board it feels really stable. I will say that I had to start popping from closer to the pocket, but after that it handled pretty similarly.

Nice. I got a Real Heavyweights 8.38" that actually measured a little over 8.5". When you get a chance can you measure that real deck? Just curious

Checked out their insta and was surprised to see that they're doing "am colorways" and that Stella Reynolds has one. I thought she was just getting flowed boards, but now she's got her name on one.

Also interesting to see some of their pros finally got parked into a "Forever" section on the team page:

Sorta accidentally accumulated a Christmas complete by sporadically buying stuff to set up later, starting with the wheels when there was a Formula Four shortage. The Krooked board is Mike Anderson's shape and it looks like it's gonna be great to skate.

I'm on the heavier side around 190 pounds, but I haven't noticed any more than normal wheelbite
