Wish I bought ten of these boards.

Prime “handout”/169/F4 Locks 55mm/Black Panther Ceramic/ Jessup

how is the quality on those Prime blanks?  got an 8.25 i'm waiting to set up
High quality. This board has some delam, but that’s my own fault for leaving it in the car.

Skeptical at first because when I think of Prime, it’s reissues. I skate a lot of South Central and Generator boards and Prime can hang with em.

Is it a stiffer board?

I have one of these and love it. It’s not as stiff as the Cockfight (Pennswood) and Creature (DSM) boards I’ve had recently. It’s flex/weight is a lot more comparable to a DOA (South Central) deck I rode this summer. They’ve been out of stock everywhere since I got this one but will probably buy a few once they’re back.
I only skate prime numbers, so it's either 53s or 59s, feast or famine

8.5 Polar
149 Thunder Team Hollow w/ 97du Bushings
54mm Spitfire Conical Full
Bones Big Balls
Bronze Allen
Mob

Converse Fastbreaks Pro

Just got back from my first session. It's definitely going to take some time getting use to the thunders after being on ventures the past year. I'm not use to the twitchiness after the stability and surfy turn of ventures. Hopefully I'll grow into thunders. I love the shape of the deck though. A nice full nose. I personally love the graphic. The umbrella and flag is pretty iconic from the polar videos.

Sadly, the last two Politic boards I've bought have been weird duds. I used to like South Central pressed boards, but they didn't used to be so thick and heavy. These last two had no crisp, hard wood pop sound at all - more of a dull thud like a waterlogged board. Sucks, cause the shapes and concave are still really nice. But BBS boards are just lighter and always crispy, never soggy when new... so I'm sticking with them. (primarily Alien or DLX since they tend to have nicer concaves)

Also - yes, the board has a weird texture pattern on the bottom (embossing?). Looks and feels cool.

I gotcha, that’s a shame! I love the SC decks I’ve had, hopefully they resolve that issue quick!

I'm really stoked with the board, the shape is great, good pop and very light. Let's see how much lasts, depending on that I will consider to ride this shape for long time.

Love it with the brown stain. My loveseat got some small pressure cracks the first day but then held up super well and lasted me like 2 months of daily quarantine skating.
