Just set this freshy up today!

Baker OG shape 8.475 14.25WB
AVE 149's
101 F4's 54mm
Redz
Jessup

I'm really liking this set up, really responsive but doesn't feel super scary at speed.

Independent 139 with indy aftermarket conical orange ones
Bones stf V1 (old as fuck)
Bronson g3 + few reds

Not sure how i like this board, shape is nice but concave is way too flat for my taste...
europe's like the capitol of england and france and whatever

It sucks getting old.

Have Real Decks gotten better over the years?  The last one I skated was a Darrell Stanton like ten years ago and it chipped away to shit almost immediately

I'll have to give em another shot, I've always liked the company and the team. Plus ten years is a long ass time.

DLX boards are the best. You're either cursed or got the one bad board they've made. I only ever stray for new shapes.

Finally had some fun money in my pocket while Black Market had some in the shop and decided to give one a whirl! I'm loving it so far. The shape is weird and oblong, but it just feels so right, nawmsayin?

If they are good enough for Arto, David Gonzales, and Brandon Westgate then they are good enough for me, but
I would welcome a package from Spitfire.

My bad, 53mm. They work, but like I said I would prefer Spitfires, but whatever.

50mm Spitfire Classics
assorted bearings - two Enjoi, two Speed Demons, two china Bones, one abec-3 Steadfast, one Spitfire cheapshots
Independent 139 - the series Independent was on in the year 2000.
7.75 by 31.75 Mini-Logo
Shorty's hardware
Jessup griptape
size 8 Vans authentic black:
http://imgur.com/a/c4UvI

im figuring out if i want to mess with the following products, suggestions welcome on any/all of the four things:

- Vans classic slip-ons instead of authentic, fifty bucks

- the Ghetto Cowboy II deck, 8.12 by 32, around sixty-three bucks including grip-tape

- Bones medium bushings:
http://imgur.com/a/mSRwe
bought them two weeks ago and i've been skating in these bunch, it's my first set but i feel like the action is kind of squirrel-y opposed to the Independent bushings which offers a little more stability. particularly for traveling higher speeds and cruising transitions, Independent bushings seem a little better to me. bones bushings do seem immediately better for technical street, but i wonder if Independent bushings will be just as good over time without having any deficiencies in the higher speeds and transition areas.

- just got this set 52 mm:

if you look at my posts in the Wheels Thread, ive been looking for wheels that offer a little more bearing slack for easier set up and removal. does anyone with experience with Girl wheels have any comment on this aspect, ideally before i open the package? also im a little hesitant regarding the Stout shape; i think the thinner Spitfire classics fit my feet size better. but maybe the Stout shape would be better if I size up to the Ghetto Cowboy deck? the wheels were 25 bucks.

I'd say get the Real deck and a decent set of bearings for your new wheels (reds?). Possibily the bones bushings if you want your trucks noticeably looser.

Yup, since 2012 90% of my boards have been from DLX since, and I've always been satisfied by their quality.

You can always just get a deck that's Bareback/Generator, it's the same thing.

Loved that Polar series Art. I wish I would've grabbed the Juras. Nice setup!

+1's for the Habitats the last few pages and Clamy's Northern.

I have a backlog of decks from the Winter months that I have to get through:

Magenta Peacock 8.25
Thunder Ti149
Autobahn Brezinski 52
MOB / Modus / Shortys
