You don't like those shoes? I'm skating in a pair of that exact shoe and I like them a lot. I'm coming off a long string of Nikes and I think the mids are super comfortable. The toe shape took some getting used to but I think they're real good.

They are good, just dont think I have the right size. I got a 1/2 size smaller, so its a little tight on the tongue, but still feel the heal flopping a bit. Maybe I'll try and redo the laces. They are super grippy on new grip tape, but feeling better after a few sessions. I had a problem with Vans when I lived in the FL Keys. The vulc glue would start to melt and separate. Think it might have been the sun, heat and humidity, or just had a bad batch of Vans for a few pairs. So I switched to Nike, and they were awesome. My homie works for Zappos, and sent 2 sets of Vans Pros, so I'll rock these for a bit.

First few sessions in almost 5 months after a noggin' slam. So Im full helmet all the time now, even curb slapping. White Protec full cut. Way better than the normal shape that flops around on your head.
Anti Hero T-Mo with that square shovel nose. 8.4/32.25 with a 14.5wb. My 2nd one, the last one had the Our Life graphic and DVD.
Ace 44s with 2 washers on the inside of the axle to space the wheels a bit wider.?  A wider deck and I would want the Ace 55. Stock bushings, but Ive put 1 new set of pivot cups, and might need another on the front. Its looser than owl shit, and got a few wheel bites yesterday that sent me flying in a bad way.
Bones STF 55mm Rayborn V5 shape. Might be the biggest STF they make, not sure.
My first Bronsons G3s.?  First time not riding Bones Swiss in like 13 years or so. I used to pop the shields on my Swiss once the lube burned off, but not sure about these. I got them for Xmas, just before Bronson Shieldless came out. I used the bearing spacer for the first time in years too. Def notice the difference skating bowls but really none jammin curbs or pushing blocks.
Vans Pro Mids. Was on the Nike kick for a while, but have a homie that works for Zappos and sent me 2 pairs while I was laid up hurt from my noggin. The heal is a little loose on these and I def fucked up skating a new deck and new Vans. Shit was so gripped up, I couldnt do shit on my first session. Its a little better now. Prob go back to Nike if I dont get more free Vans.
Jessup gripe, which I think isnt as good as it used to be. My last few decks the grip was peeling and ripping off the edges, but it could be from the Florida heat and sun.

quality setup and post right there. glad to hear youre getting back on the board. sorry to nerd out, but back in like 2010 I had a set of bones stf 60mm "double standards", kind of a conical shape, not sure why I remember that at all... but yea they were the last set of bones ive ever had. back on the spitfire ride for the last like 5-6 years. never going back.

Thanks. I had a set of STF that had the Barrier Kult graphics, conical shape, 58mm I think.  I rode them for years. I was a Spitfire guy all thru the 90's. Id dealt with the flat spots and them turning yellow within a week for a long time. When Bones first started the SPF in early 2000's, I had gotten a set of used ones (maybe even some prototypes) and was hooked forever. However I do have OJ Ditch Witch 92 on my cruiser, check that thread... Although the new Spitfire F4 look good, Ive been more than happy with STF or SPF.

Same wheel and bearing set up as me! Rad!!  Did you clean the lube off after the shield pop? I usually soak them in mineral spirits or turpentine, or just skate them till the lube dries out, then pop the shields. Those were with Bones Swiss though. Not 100% sure what Im going to do with my G3 at the moment, maybe get the shieldess ones and put the G3 on my cruiser...

Cheers mate, the synchronicities are in motion! Really digging the wheels so far they've got a slick & fast street feel but somehow they seem to grip parks well with some squawky sliding. As for the bearings I left the sheilds on for a good 8 months until I got them wet. 2 of the wheels freezed up so I popped all the caps off and they're back to being fast and loud. I skated sheildless Swiss for over 10 years so the Bronson raws sound sick as fuck but I'll probably skate these G3s until they're shot. That's a killer deck tho player I was considering getting that one but got the 8.63 sprack eagle Raney shape instead. Anti hero boards are always the greatest shit ever.

Rad, Thanks. This is a great shape. Prob 6 or 7 or more Anti Hero decks in the past few years. I did ride that Doomsayers shovel nose/tail, and I believe it was the exact same mold from this deck.  Just a bit wider. I had Ace 55s on that, but I wanted to go back to under 8.5.  Yeah, these wheels are great. Im sold on the STF, I was riding 56 SPF, but my front truck is so loose now, Im getting some wheelbite, so even that 1mm is helping at this point. Thanks for the bearing advice. Everyone here Ive skated with in St. Pete/ Tampa trip out on my shieldless set up.  Glad Im not the only one! Cheers!

The most sturdy feeling deck I've skated.
Just feels heavier than a standard board.
