Haven't posted a new setup for a bit, not much changes for me from one board to the next.

I went down to 8 for fun.

Is FA/Hockey fully BBS now? Some of the Hockey boards I've seen didn't have the PS stix laser engraving.

Good to hear, bought a set for 8 bucks on the sw sale. This could be the go to if it works out well. So cheap.

Every one I've ridden, including the two I have on deck from the latest drop, are PS.

The first set i had lasted for a while until i gave them away. The metal shields on my last set bent inward because i decided to skate my wheels a little tighter. I've since bought bearing spacers to prevent this in the future.

Didn't want to skate the BA lance board so decided to go with the Grosso to skate/cruise. Was originally only going to cruise it in but will definitely be skating in this, such a good shape.

9.25 AH
169 Indys with red 88A bushings
55 OJ mini hot juice's
Swiss
(Added some risers afterwards)

Those OJ's look wild. Kinda scary that they are so square cut.

It's just an effect of the perspective. I mean, don't get me wrong, OJ's are completely squared off, but the trucks aren't crooked in 6 directions.
I have hot juice minis on my scumco cruiser and they're fun. They chip pretty easy if you're ripping through shitty roads, but the grip is insane for carving around on smooth asphalt

All new everything to slowly get me back into skating instead of just cruising after breaking my leg.

Black Label 8.5"
Venture 5.8
Girl 1/8" risers
Zealous bearings (with built in spacers)
OJs Little doodies 58 mm 92A

Been cruising with my big cruiser for a month or so now with 78A 60 mm Ricta Clouds. Compared to that these Little doodies feel slow as fuck. But at least these slide. Managed to do a few reverts today. No ollies still for a while, but I feel like it's all coming back, slowly but surely.

Also whoever said Ventures don't turn was either mad or hasn't tried the 5.8's cuz these feel lovely. Totally stock and I don't even feel like fucking with them at all. Didn't even tighten them. Stable enough in the middle but they still turn lovely without much effort.

I suck and weigh about 90 kg, so stock Indys are death for me. I need that middle stability and preferably no wheelbite, especially sudden and unexpected wheelbite, which is what I get with stock Indys.

Venture Highs are kind of unsung in the turning department. They don't get wheelbite and turn better than Indy and as good as Thunder IMO. I'm surprised they don't get more love. Maybe a bit more effort to pop.

I've got a set that and they turn just fine but the extra wheel base does mess with your timing if your not riding them exclusively. Other than that no complaints.

I did try manualing a bit on that setup and it was a bit weird cuz the wheelbase is pushed out compared to Indys and Aces I have on other set ups. Interesting to see how it goes for popping tricks once I'm able to do that.  :)

Also those 92A wheels are weird. My 54 mm Keyframes roll so much better than the 58 mm Little doodies. Yet the wheels are kinda too soft. I dunno what they'd be good for. Definitely seems like a bad compromise between soft and hard wheels. Thankfully they were cheap.

They're pretty much balls. Weird ass wheels for sure but slow as all hell. I gotta switch out the bearings and test them again but today i tested them side by side with 101A Formula Fours, 87A Keyframes and 78A Clouds on asphalt and they were noticeably slower than any of the other wheels. Maybe I'll report back here or the wheels thread.  :)
