could anyone who skates with one rail tell me where should i put it? i got some rails but i don't want to put on both because i don't want my setup to be too heavy. i do a lot of frontside lipslides on ledges, should i put it on the heelside or the toeside of my board?

eS Accel SQ

I want that board but with just the chocolate script
Still a cool graphic though and silver boards look real good to me

I'm pretty sure I saw something on a crail clip Chico said he was trying out the same shape
In 8.75 that would be cool

How are those trucks theeve seem pretty expensive??

This graphic was $10 cheaper than the og chunk script and I kinda like it too.

The 8.75 is the Big Boy Jr. G037 shape. In case you or anyone else was wondering, my board actually only measures ~8.6 at the center of the bolts so I imagine the Jr is about 8.3

I am in love with the Theeve/Bones hard combo. The turn and feel is nothing short of amazing to me. I don't have a local shop so I get them from SW. Normal price is only $37.98 per set. I have $75.73 in this setup, $99.36 if you include the shoes.

The board comes with 2 wb options

Feels very different. Definitely better than having to drill something in but not as many options, I personally riun 1 rail toe side. With that being said, just the graphic is slick. The nose and tail are not.

It comes pre drilled for 14 and 14.5 wb option. Would rather have a longer nose but 14 is too short for me.

The slick is slightly slower, but I like it alot. It's an adjustment being lower on boardslides because your wheels hit faster, same with transition with rock and rolls, disasters etc.
But the spot we skate has a curb with a huge gap that we always had to look out for, with this board I can just go right over it.

I haven't owned a board in like 15 years or so. But a week or two ago the weather was so nice I randomly decided to build myself a cruiser. It feels good to be back skating! Anyways this is my new setup:

RIPNDIP 9.0 Deck - I really dig the shape and it has a 15.75" wheelbase which is nice for my bigass.
Mob Grip Space Out
Ace 55 "Purple Coping Eaters" - Bones Hardcore Bushings Medium Bottoms/Hard Tops, Riptide 96a Pivot Cups
Kryptonics Star Trac 65mm 86a Wheels
Shortys Black Panther Ceramic Bearings
1/2" Vision Psycho Shock Risers
Loaded Button Head Allen Hardware

The stock bushings on the Aces were too squishy for me (I weigh 225lbs), so the Bones bushings made a night and day difference for me. The stock bushings use softer bottoms and harder tops, so I did the same to keep a similar feel just with harder durometers. Paired with the harder "self lubricating" Riptide pivot cup bushings, it turns so smoothly! After I rode them a couple days and toyed with the tightness of the trucks, it rides like a dream now! I also want to say how impressed I am with these bearings! They are super quiet, and super fast. I for sure recommend them for affordable ceramic bearings! The Kryptonics wheels are friggin awesome as well! My city has some pretty ate up pavement, and the wheels are excellent on cracks and pebbles and such. I'm pretty stoked on this setup, but of course I'm going to keep tinkering! Oh and sorry my camera is a bit messed up if you can't tell.

Nice, looks comfy.  Probably impossible to ollie on because of the height, no? I have some 60mm super juice and 1/4" risers on my cruiser and it's a chore to get that thing up.

Not a fan of rip n dip though, that dude beats women.  Don't mean to rain on your 1st post with that, welcome regardless.

Oh. Bummer. I didn't know all that! I just nabbed it because I dig the shape. And yeah, it's kind of tough to ollie, but I've been able to at least hop curbs and such. I just got a 1/4" riser and I'm goin to try that out, the 1/2" might be a tad high. But I'm too old and busted now days to get back into my old tricks, so I'm more concerned with a comfy ride and good carving.

@goatgruff13 interested to hear how those riptide pivot cups hold up over time.  As a fellow "big & tall" skater I blow through stock pivot cups annoyingly quickly.
All you got is today, get out and skate.

yea I have to switch pivot cups more often than I like, specifically my back one. guess its where I put the majority of my weight when doing tricks (you'll never see me nose grind). same thing with back truck bushings. ive been running stock indy bushings with a top washer and no bottom washer for about a year and they are the perfect looseness broken innness. back bottom bushing just split in half so Ive gotta start over and break a new set in lol.
