I like that graphic.  It’s like if Fist of the North Star took place in the hood.

Yes.
I got the same trucks on a 8.6 and have skated 8.5s with 147s in the past.

I dont know. Ive always ridden the cheapest bearings I could find. But then I got tired of them breaking and bought those. They have lasted a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. However, I only skate parks, so no real heavy landings.

That art is by Benjamin Marra. He's mostly known for his comics work. Trife as hell and kinda bad on purpose but still pretty sick.

On my second DGK now; I really dig their 8.5 shape, so much so that I bought another one. It feels real nice.

I was perusing the wknd site and I guess they have a size guide up there now, looks like it's missing 8.3 though...

On a similar note, does anyone's local have 8.6 wknds in stock? None of the Chicago shops carry em

I thought DOA was using clutch wood? Well that sucks, since SOuth Central uses prison labor.

they're whatever northern co is. my homie rides for them, most of his boxes they send him are just northern co decks.

I almost got hit by a car bombing down 15th street in D.C. today and my new board somehow survived.  Also Bobby Worrest watched me set this picture up, and it was super embarrassing.

Treated myself to a Christmas complete for the first time in years! I got super high and fucked up the grip job, but I'm super stoked on the board and its shape. IT's hard to tell but it's one of the rare shaped boards that WKND does.

WKND 8.5
Indy 149s
F4 53mm 99a fulls
Reds
Adidas Samba (OG not skate version)
this would look even better if you cut all the pieces of grip into the various 4squared tetris blocks

It's a very stout, full shape.  You can see where the car got my grip.  That's the only scratch on me or the board by some miracle.  I'm sorry Shit For Brains; I couldn't find my drunken selfie with Bobby from the Krooked premiere.  It's lost to the archives.

Think you could make the pic just a bit bigger, it's hard to see the details. thanks
