I want to like Sour, but my Gustav deck was wack. Super brittle and looked like it lacked glue. Started splintering on the bottom ply on the 3rd session.

Krooked Worrest 8.5 flash art
Venture 5.8
Replaced kingpin with hollow
Venture bushings 90a
Spitfire F4 conical 54
Reds
Mob
Silverados

Baker logo 8.5
Indy 149 Reynolds hollows
Indy 90a bushings
Spitfire sfw 55
Hard luck bearings
Shake junt bolt and grip
How is it going back and forth between the two sets of trucks as far as turn, stability and pop?

And what did I miss about ace being racist now?
Man the long board truck thing killed indy for me. I was willing to set aside the racism, but long boarding, gtfo... - DH

I had Indy 139s with bones med bushings on a Krooked 8.06 and it was fine. (5’6” 125lbs).

I’d only pick up a pair of 129s if you know you want to be riding a deck below 8. I tried awhile back and just wasn’t feeling it. Now they collect dust on a shelf with all the other well intentioned skate gear I purchased while drunk.

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Girl 8.12 x 31.8 14in wb
Team rider only 6ply carbon fiber top ply
Jessup
Bronze 1in Allen key
Venture hi 5.8 / Venture lite low 5.25
Spitfire F4 Classics 51mm / Hitek 45mm
Bronson Raw

My opinion is that 5.25(8) trucks are way too small for 8.1
5.8 (8.5) on 8.1 fits pretty good with out any wheel sticking out.
@venturetrucks where that 5.5 at?!?!!

Pop Secret?
Had one like 7 years ago in a Malto 8.125 shape and learned to stray away from Crailtap... until I got a free board.

I picked this board up when I visited LA last month. Pop secret basically was a team rider only 6 ply with top layer of carbon fiber. Girl and chocolate did a one off series once a few years ago.  Very light and stiff yet flexible.

Not sure how I feel about this shape, I haven't seen a photo of a board I want to stand on for a hot minute. Your griptape is very nice by the way.

almost seems like it's very similar to Chico's chocolate shape. What's the wheelbase?
edit: never mind, looks to be 14.25
I bet it's a blast to ride

It does get weird, but there is no bad that comes with good (I definitely butcherd that line). Shaped boards make some things easier. I had a Cab reissue and 180s' and shuv variations felt easier. At the expense that I couldn't flip. Welcome's are interesting as they build off the popsicle shape, rather than the old school this is so-and-so's shape.

I ride 8.25 but I find little correlation between that and having a huge penis
