Nice sticker job, how do you get the Spitfire head to match the curve of the deck? Measure and pre-cut it with a blade?

Stick them on and cut around the edge with a blade - just like applying grip

I cut the sucker in half first

Got a "brand new" Real Low Pro off a local 2nd hand site, sold the parts and kept the board. No cracks, grip was new but dusty, so I re-gripped it last night and was keen to try a Low Pro given the dimensions.
Unfortunately I snapped it 10 minutes into my session on a kickflip on flat. I'm 135lbs and the last time I snapped a board was when I still skated stairs. There was a weird feeling about the deck when I first started pushing, like my trucks sounded extra loose and was rattling way more than usual. It was fun while it lasted, pop on that thing was insane but kicks a were too steep.

Real Kyle Walker 8.18
Thunder 148 Titanium
Square Wheels 52mm 99a
Bones Super Reds
Assorted hardware
Griptape from China - less course than usual, hope this helps save my shoes.

Hopefully this one doesn't give up on me in 1 session.

Exactly how flat are DOA boards? Like, zero concave? Never seen one before.  :o

It's really flat but not zero concave. The middle of the deck has slight concave but over the trucks it's almost completely flat and there is a lot of space between the bolts and the kicks. The kicks are really mellow too with the nose being the slightest bit steeper.

What exactly is the appeal? Just a mellow ride? I've gotten so used to a steeper concave it's tough to imagine anything else.

Quicker, easier pop.  Helpful for those with frail old-man legs.

I hit them up on email and social media, but most of California is on lock down especially non-essential services. Replacing a broken deck probably ranks low in terms of their priorities, and I don't blame the.

And when did they stop selling low-pro's? I haven't seen one in years. They were epoxy, maybe hot pressed and time dried it out?

Current setup, pretty happy with it:
- Primitive 8.5/32.25/14.25
- Mob
- Thunder 1" bolts
- Indy 149 Reynolds hollows
- Swiss 6
- Spitfire F4 classics 53
Kalis S
Probably the closest I've been to my God setup. Maybe I would like better conicals but impossible to find.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Yes, I took a photo of it and now I'm looking for it so... 8.5 x 32.1926 (really?) Nose: 7.0, tail: 6.5 and WB: 14.3

DOA Flat 8.0
Venture Lo 5.2
Spitfire F4 Classics 52mm
Bones Swiss
Shorty's Silverado's
Jessup

2 sessions in starting to figure it out.

This is nice looking, I have a couple flat 8.5"s on the way. I tried to do venture lows with an 8.25" DOA flat and it didn't play nice, but I know thats how I liked them in the day so who knows. Currently skating an 8.5" flat with Ace 44s and loving it.

Having a nose and tail with more flat gives me more control, too. Also a flat overall concave feels better on my feet.

Quasi Proto 8.5 (14.25wb feels nice)
Ace 44 (first time, very awesome)
Radial Slim 53/99
Reds, Jessup, Bronze, Rib-bones

There was this crusty yellow curb that was getting the best of me so I got rails for the first time. They're kinda whatever so far... tried taking one of them off and got fixated on the holes, so now they're just gonna be on till this deck dies lol

As far as I know. Every other SC board I've skated has the steepish standard concave.

8.25 DOA Chambers standard shape
Theeve 5.5 Ti-Hanger
Jivaro 53mm conicals
Modus 7 bearings
Black Magic grip

Haven't skated a standard shape DOA for quite a while and I liked it but wasn't completely into it last time (tail was a little steep for my liking) so I'm interested to see if how I find it this time around. Also snagged a couple other decks and an awesome longsleeve. DOA seems to always have cool shit and this spring line is no exception.

I see you're back on theeves. Just for this deck or are you not feeling the Film trucks anymore?
[close]

I have the films on my WKND deck and it's a great pairing so I didn't want to move them. I actually didn't really like how this setup felt on theeves so I already took them off. Gonna try something lower (probably mini logo, or forged thunders) and see if that feels more comfortable for me.
[close]

How is the Mini Logo stuff? I was going to give one of their decks a try, they advertise a pretty mellow concave. ✌️

im skating a minilogo deck right now and im going to set up a new one soon, theyre pretty good, not the best wood but for that price its worth it, and yeah theyre pretty mellow, i like the shape enough to keep skating it even though id like a longer nose
