thinking of getting a Toy Machine 8.5 Fists. How would it compare to the Quasi Proto 8.5? should i expect mellower concave and pointier kicks?
I've heard toy machines have really flat concave. I skated one a long time ago but that was before I cared about board specs.

Used to be mellow and pointy. And shit if that was the case that’d be the move, eh? I like mellow pointy.
Toy could be decent, they do be mailing it in tho.

Has anyone skated the quasi proto?
Yeah if you're getting an 8.5 they're the same shape as all the other quasi 8.5 graphics. Wheelbase might differ a little bit but they're usually 14.5. Nice big nose and tail. Plenty of foot room

With all this quasi talk, am I the only one that hates how short their tails are? I'm on my 3rd in the last 6 months or so and went from a Hockey to this and the tail just feels SO short. Love the fat nose, but the tail feels so cramped compared to the roominess of the Hockey.

Idk

The Quasi team must skate their boards backwards.

I love they're wheels. These are the harder wheels but I personally love their AG formula wheels. similar to the formula 4 but way better. Get their wheels if you have a chance.

you like those super soft indy bushings? I wanna get some but I’m afraid going from 90a bushings to 78a bushings would be a big deal. seem perfect for ventures though.
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

I love them too. I just got some Dial TOnes fairly recently and really like those (they feel similar), but for a while I was only skating SML. Really good, smooth, and last long.

Yeah. They feel really good in the ventures. I was going to post it in the 2020 but I’ll let them sweat.
I normally skate the Indy medium ones. Just the standard ones they come with and the white super softs feel similar in the ventures. I also used the standard Indy washers the bushings came with.

I guess you eventually get used to anything. Not my picky ass though.

But if you me JJ skates his boards backwards I might start doing it.

I've got a 8.5 Toy Machine black fists here as a wall board. Measurements on site is something like 8.5 x 32.38 with 14.375. True measure 8.6 back truck, 8.46 front. Every thing else is true. PS stix, very very flat, large wide tail and pointy'ish nose. Think i like it and wanna try sometime. I know they have an 8.5, 14.25 to that has the square nose and tail type ps stix shapes. Think it might be the red 8.5 fists
