The 8.12 Eagle is my all time favorite board. I can always set one up and know I’ll like it. I was catching the kingpin a lot on 50-50’s today. I saw people mention that’s a thing you have to deal with for a little bit on the lows. I did like the way they turn and how they’re naturally pretty loose. For once I didn’t have to take the bottom washer out of my trucks to get them to pinch how I like on crooked grinds

Glad to hear the ace 03s are working for you. I didn’t have the lows, but miss my 33s.

DOA flat as fuck originally 8in with 14.25wb
custom shaped to 7.6x32 14in wb

Jessup grip
Bronze Allen key
Venture low 5.25
Spitfire bighead 48mm
Bones big balls
[close]

Looks dope.
DOA x HiTek, very sick.
Lots of questions. How’d reshape? How was the wheelbase shortened?
[close]

All nosneb's setups are amazing. I wish my technical skills were anywhere beyond slappy crooks and the occasional heelflip so could justify skating something like that. So sick.
[close]

Skating in af1s is not easy.
Cyrus has an incredible kickflip (always) but wearing some, and puleo has put in much work. Gino, Reese had some clips. It’s really not easy. I frequently miss the board completely trying to kickflip

Shape was inspired by board shapes around 1997 so what better board to do it on a doa.
As for wheelbase just drilled the front truck back a quarter inch.

Ok

-Brown Bomber 8.8” 14.25” WB, Mob grip
-Plague 1.25” hardware
-44’s stock bushings with a Bones top washer, 3 axle washers inside, one outside.
-Modus 1/8” risers
-Dogtown K-9 wheels 60mm 97a
-Super Reds

I skated this thing all day yesterday and it’s the most amazing feeling set-up I’ve ever had. Wheelbite isn’t even bad and these wheels save me pushes and power over curbs and coping like nothing. I’m skating huge wheels from now on.

The twin nose AWS was great for the 3 days I skated it, but I broke the tail earlier. Skateboards break though, so it’s whatever. Tomorrow I’m skating a new complete

8.12 Anti Hero Eagle
ACE 03’s
52mm F4 Lock-Ins
Super Swiss 6
DC super suede Legacy Slims
[close]

Had almost this exact setup last summer - probably my favourite ride to date

Rocked 44's and big balls. Otherwise the same.

nice looking setup! (bummer on the aws)
been eyeballing the 8.12 eagle. on an 8.06 eagle now (but i can almost shave with the tail)
what is the exact wheelbase on that 8.12 eagle? seeing conflicting stats online.

Been skating ventures for the past month, felt I had to get a new board to go with it 'cause I hate skating new trucks on old boards

8.38" Krooked
Venture 5.8's
54mm F4 classics
random bearings and hardware

The wheelbase is a bit long for my liking, but it's a Brad Cromer board and I like the shape of the tail so it probably won't bother me that much once I get used to it

Set this one up for the new local park, struggling on the Icey ground. My trucks are bent, meaning less contact area on my wheels. That setup with the 60mm’s is tempting me to put my OJ Boserio 97a’s on. Do you get ghost pop at all?

AH Brown Bomber
44
F4 99a Conical Full 55
Swiss Six

That bowl looks amazing. I was running 56mm conical fulls before these, loved those as well. Are those mag plates? And no ghost pop, everything feels pretty normal for having such huge wheels.

Really enjoy the shape and feel of this board, but the graphic placement in the wrong orientation bothers me.

Roger 8.75 "tugboat" shape (full nose & tail like quasi or FA)
Ace 55s with new riptide cups
Spitfire F4 101 classics 50mm
Bones Reds Big Balls (hated these at first but they've started to break in nicely)

I bought a pack of those Bones Big Ball Bearings and they all died on me within a month. Fucking sucked. Curious to know if you will have the same problem.

I’ve been skating them for six months now and they’re fine. I cleaned them not too long ago and had a couple with cracked cages. They seemed faster than Reds, so I’d say they were worth spending $24 on them
I won a set from Skate One when they first came out.  In my experience, they felt sluggish after just a few weeks.  I actually just bought a second set of Mini-Logo bearings because I like them better.

In my experience Mini-logo have been better than reds, race reds, indy black, and bronson. They're good ass bearings.

I’ll skate Reds until they start to seize up, toss them, and get a new set usually. These were great and definitely worth spending the extra $4. They felt faster right off the first push. It’s worth noting I’m a notorious Powell/Bones hater, but admit they make great bearings. If they weren’t good I’d have no problem saying it
