Do you find the Real a lot bigger than the Jart board overall?

Just curious as the Real is the size I ride and others always say it is big (besides the fact I like an 8.38 that is more like an 8.5 too).

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

It doesnt feel bigger to me in terms of width, maybe because its longer than the Jart. I really like it, tried it on indys also, but with Thunder it feels much better.

Damn, that was super sick! Really love the shape and the skating was top notch.

If you end up making a football/egg with a 14.5 wheelbase I will buy so god damn many.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

Was having some bad skate luck with my last deck so I set up a new board and everything’s been clicking for some reason:

FA AVE 8.5
Ace (classics) 55s
Spitfire F4 97a 54 mm conical fulls
Bronson raws
Mob
Bones hardware

The 97a’s took a day to get used to but they’re fantastic.

Your homey's skating is really enjoyable to watch & makes that board look really fun.
Props to you, your decks, and your homey.

Also, somebody else already said it, but your tape job is worthy of a little acknowledgement as well.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?

Brought this deck back out to try the aces on a smaller pop with steep kicks/concave for some flatground. Think the 8.75” hockey is in my future. Also have a polar 1991 on ice next. And the 97a are amazing.

Enjoy r7 8.5” x 14.25” x 32.25”
Ace 55
Spitfire 97a 54mm
1/8” risers

@Frank and Fred good to try out for a bit, it works. I think ill stay on something bigger or shaped though w my size 13 feet and not flipping much.

@big_kev_215 i like, gets em to Indy standard height which I was used to. I think the steepness of the kicks matters a good bit too.

does anyone have leads on where to find longer 8.38 shapes that still have 14.25 wheelbase? like 32.5 to 32.75 length would be ideal. there's some evidence that tum yeto had/has such a shape, same with flip and habitat. but at least with habitat and toy, those boards seem harder to track down.

Yeah those decks are so solid, great shape and good kicks.

Sticker over it or scratch it off - grip offcuts work really well for that.

I have done that fairly often with other boards and didn't want the board brand or name showing.

I know from the short wheelbase thread and seeing them in person, the Alien / Habitat decks are often still the same length but usually with shorter wheelbases, which means long kicks.

only 14.25wb at the local. it’s an 8.5 and i’m not sure what size my trucks are but it does feel a bit like a magic carpet. so i’m guessing 5.6?
