Been riding the same trucks, wheels, and similar sized decks for the last few decks and it definitely helps with dialing in tricks. I was swapping trucks, wheels, shapes each new deck before that and having a consistent config is definitely the way to go for me. That being said, I'm also feeling the itch to switch it up for no reason whatsoever. My trucks are whittling down and the minute I see some axle I am going to use it as an excuse to swap to some indys most likely.

was this a mellow deck?
I'd say medium steep.  The concave is noticeable when new but it has mellowed out quite nicely for me.

Beautiful set up, respect on the crook grooves.

I second that

Do you rotate your trucks around on each deck ?

Or have you just got switch crooks locked in
I want to fight you so badly richard

love this, how do the 5.8's feel on a 8.38? i've only dared go up to 5.6's worrying anything bigger would poke out too much

They're great! Bit of context though as your experience may vary. I skated 8.5-8.6 boards for years on 8.5 trucks, and only sized down the past year and a half or so between 8.25-8.38.

I feel like I'm just so used to exactly how 8.5 trucks feel. Even on 8.25 boards it felt pretty chill, didn't mind the slight hot rod. I like the stability and truck room. Actually tried sizing down to 8 inch trucks on an 8.25 and hated it. Maybe the jump was too extreme and 8.25 trucks could have been great, though at this point I don't see any reason to switch.

Thanks. If you look closely I'm actually on axle on all four crook grooves lol. I actually have another set of titanium hangers on ice so not panicking just yet. Still really trying to make these last until the end of year, have had them since january, not sure if I'll make it.

Thanks dudes. I do crooks and 180 nosegrind variations (also pinches the same parts of the trucks) in all stances. But the bulk of the damage is from regular and switch back crook variations, which means I'll have to rotate my trucks after a few months so that I can keep skating them.

It works out since my nollie/fakie frontside crooked grinds are shit and I need help holding them so the pre-groove (from the backside crooked grinds and then rotating) helps a bit. Kinda cheating, but fuckit I'm not trying to retire trucks after a few months due to one specific groove.

Ahh shit someones going to make me look like a chump when I'm wrong on this but it's a DOA question so I have to at least take a shot.

I think the E molds are pretty universally 31.7 and 14.25 until you hit the 8.5. Maybe the 7.5 is smaller but no one skates those except @nosneb

@ok 14.25" WB, like 31.875" overall. @Buttfart Rapedick this one is weirdly a little longer than my 8.25" E molds. Also I think @Fifty8mm skates the 7.5" flats and might also be able to comment on the WB.

Sorry for the mass tagging, I too want to know.

Too sore to skate today, but I set this up any way so the sight of it by the door, un-skated, can haunt me.

Tried to go for the rip tape, but this sheet is kinda old and  second tear wound up pulling the grip away from the adhesive. Had to cut the fucked up part out and decided not to push it.

I’m excited to give it a whirl. What didn’t you like about your last PS board? It’s been like 8 months since my last one.

Too much flex. I like a really crispy board. I could have gotten a couple bad ones. I'm going to go to the shop and stand on that one today and if it feels even remotely OK I am going to get it.

Beautiful. Love the shape. What's the length and wb?

Here's the complete measurements I took from it

Length: 30.5"
width (widest): 10.34"
width (front truck): 9"
width (back truck): 8.25"
WB: a fat 14.75, I could call it 14.875
nose: 5"
tail: 6.75

Thought about getting this one. When I first got back into skating over a year ago, I skated the 8.65 x 32.25 or whatever shape they use to so. I started to hate it because of the flex. I kept it but skated a different deck.

I returned to it a few months ago, and actually thought it felt pretty good. Maybe I lost some weight too😂. Anyways, I passed on this one because I thought it might feel too small.

for me, i think the turn is a little bit sharper if that makes sense. but the main reason i buy these aftermarket conicals is because  the stock barrels always break after some time and i don‘t like fucked up bushings or putting in new ones in old trucks. these aftermarkets always last me as long as the trucks.
