8.5" eagle, reg jessup
1-1/4" shorty's phillips hardware
1/4" shorty's dooks hard adjustable risers (fit Ventures perfect)
Venture standards 5.8, 88a supercush's, riptide pivot cups
NFG MFG 58mm 95a Vee shape
Bones Swiss bearings
[close]

Adjustable risers?
[close]
pneumatic or hydraulic?
[close]

Lolz. They have the longer oval holes in them so you can slide them up or down to fit whichever truck you are using, vs. fixed hole risers.
Ah I gotcha man, I can never find ones that fit Ventures correctly.

Yeah bones do fit great, I just went with dooks because I didn't want to stack two 1/8" bones risers. OCD thing. Before I went with bigger wheels on these Ventures I ran 1/8" Bones and it was nice.

Great setup. I’d love to see a top shot of that setup.
That deck is rad and I wanted to pick one up but I was worried about truck sizes/hot rodding. Is that deck 8.5 over the rear truck?

It's 8.5" at its narrowest point. But even then, on 169's the hot rodding isn't crazy.

I like the specs and the graphic a lot. The kicks seem kinda steep, or is it just the angle?

@fs1/2cab it does have pretty steep kicks. It’s listed as mellow concave/steep kick and I’d say that holds true.

Polar 8.25 with Jessup Ultra

Indy ti 144 hangers on new IKP baseplates

Spitfire 51mm tablets with wide inside washers

Not a huge fan of tablets, but I pulled the bearings out of my classics to clean 'em and just wanted to get a skate in today.

8.5 Church shop board, 151 Thunder hollows, SML Tom Know 52’s, Reebok work out plus’s. The Church shop board is one of the best shapes I’ve ever ridden. Almost exactly the same as the team April 8.5

Love them with bones bushings. Not for everybody though, all my friends hate the way they feel. I personally like the wiggle at the centre. Makes pinching grinds feel easier for me.

Still need to try K5s

I love this combo. Depends on the 8.5", since obviously there's some variance between makers, but I've got 159s on a 8.5" Skate Warehouse blank and it's nice and snug. I'm not much of a flipper these days, but this board is great for ollies, slappies, pool skating, etc.

The kicks and concave are a little more mellow than the Ishod twin tails. I actually prefer steeper boards but I skated this for a little bit yesterday and it felt reallllly good. If they keep making them I'll keep skating them, symmetrical boards are the best

Darn! I figured with twin noses they’d be on the steeper side. That’s what I’m looking for on a symmetrical board.
