Didn’t know the 8.1 shape had a 14” WB. Do you have the other dimensions? I checked tactics and it seems to be off

Apologies , just remeasured , measuring from the middle of the bolt to the middle of the other bolt , it’s a tenth less than 14.25” , but if measuring from where the bolt holes start it’s 14”

Thanks for checking!

Bones soft bushings with 56mm wheels and no risers? God bless you, that setup would kill me. Makes me want another one of these decks though. Such a nice shape.
Don't worry, I'll put the risers on when my 58 classics come this Thursday

Lol my local and quasi’s warehouse are both in Dayton so luckily I get pick of the litter even though it’s not a very big shop… would be pretty funny to order one from somewhere else just to have it shipped back here tho.

How is the quality on the boardycakes? obviously it’s no formula four but are they pretty reliable? been keen on trying some for a curb setup.

Took this snapshot on the jet-bridge before the flight I’m about to take. Newish setup, learned back tails on this board (I’m 32, feels amazing).

Passport 8” (I didn’t measure the wb, feels like it’s gotta be more than 14” but not by much). Length is a little less than 32”. Kinda can’t decide whether I like 8’s or 8.25+ more.

Indy 139
Spitfire classic F4 53”
Reds (woulda switched my Swiss from my other setup but didn’t have time/lazy)
Shorty’s h/w

Reebok Revenge Club C from Poshmark, haven’t skated yet.

For anyone interested I bought one of the Hammers Klein decks last week and finally arrived today. Wish I bought 2 since this is most likely gonna end up a wall hanger. The shape is really cool, fat upfront than tapers near the tail, the cutting into the plys and raised inks of it are really something. BBS did an amazing job on these, there's 5 colored plys! Only ever seen DSM do that before. Dimensions are 8.25 x 31.9 with a 13.75 wb.

First board I've seen where I'd consider hanging it to show the top graphic. So nice.

8.38 local shop deck
Thunder Tis 149s
All Ti nuts
Weird tri-wing Ti hardware
Rad slim F4s, legit this time  :)
Bones Swiss Six

I thought about purchasing the Real wooden riser pads for the east coast crust out here. Ultimately, decided to make my own with some carbon fiber I had laying around. 7 grams each. I'm 100% confident they won't help me skate better, but I need something to tinker around with, plus they were basically free.

@PuffinMuffin  how are the thunder modifications feeling?

Love to see people nerding out over the little details like this.

Where'd you scoop the Ti hardware? I'd get some if it wasn't too expensive. Currently just using $1.28 Home Depot hardware which is working out nice. Low profile and all silver bolts which I prefer.

@PuffinMuffin  how are the thunder modifications feeling?

I haven't skated the risers yet, still can't skate for three more weeks. But the rest of the setup feels great.  :) Swapped the bottom Thunder bushings out for Krux K4 bushings, as they're the exact same height. Tensor ATG bushings are on the top and sleeved washers on the bottom. The kingpin never hangs up, and the trucks snap back to center quickly.
