USA Independent 169s with aftermarket Indy 92a barrel bushings and Ace AF1 pivot cups (pivot cups work very well with these so far in case you were wondering)
Bones Tony Hawk SPF 58mm 84b P5 shape
Bones Swiss
MOB
Mini Logo 1 1/4" hardware
Mini Logo 1/4" riser pads
Powell Peralta Rib Bones

After getting back into it and moving up and down in size to be with the times, I think I’m settled on something in this mid life venture back into skating. Go figure it’s the size from my youth.

Plan B PJ Ladd 8

.....on a thread with over 1000 pages, it was only a matter of time till i stepped on somebody's toes.

It's not that you stepped on toes, it's that someone corrected your assumption. Notice nobody flamed you or lashed out, just told you why it's actually really bad, and potentially even worse.

Pretty much every major culture has fucked up shit on their past, if you were unaware of Japanese atrocities committed on Chinese you should probably read up on it a bit more. I think everyone would be better off learning about the darkest corners of their own histories

Thank you for honoring China by reenacting one of their struggle sessions during their Cultural Revolution.

I got a pack of them, along w/ a cool SLAP beanie & SLAP T-shirt, as part of my first (of many) perk packages that I got for free when I upgraded my SLAP membership.
If you choose to pay a little extra for one of the premium level memberships (silver, gold, or platinum) you get all sorts of cool bonuses.
I opted for the platinum which costs a little more but includes special bonuses like free airport pickup/drop-off, hotel discounts in select cities, and best of all, access to the Champagne Room when I stop by the SLAP Club’s physical location here in SF.
Not to mention, all the cool limited edition shit they send you on a quarterly basis.
Definitely worth the extra $$$.

A Matt Rod board. It's got a funky shape to it but Matt Rod is one of my all time favorites. Added some old indys with the soft bones bushings and new pivot cups with some 54mm Satori wheels. No fancy grip, just Jessup. I set this up before christmas but I've been so goddamn busy with school that all I can do is look at it.

Do you have any more info on this deck, like dimensions and what woodshop it's from by chance? It looks really similar to a Watson laminates pressed H-street shape that I have.

I actually don't have an upgraded membership currently, but a buddy of mine is also Platinum and he gave this one to me (he has more than he'll ever need). I'm really considering spending the few bucks to upgrade to at least Silver for more stickers and my very own SLAP fanny pack to carry them around in.

The "Silver package" Fanny pack is now constructed out of actual silver in case your still on the fence.

Snack 8.25 x 31.6 14.2wb
Tensor mag light ATG 5.5 (8.25 axle)
Medium Film aftermarket bushings (shout-out to Daclin for hooking it up)
Bones easy street 54mm 99a v4 wide
Junk ceramics
J'essup, the French version of jessup.

Old man with a hurt back in a cold basement setup. The nose is comical on this thing, you couldn't miss your flick if you tried. It's not as square as some snack boards I've had (especially the tail) but it's still pretty square. PS wood feels so good when it's well below freezing and the humidity drops. It stays pliable but feels super light and snappy, the board just sticks to your feet. Now I just need the snow/ice/salt to melt so I can actually take it outside and ruin it. I wish I still had my little doodies, they were perfect for these kinds of setups.

Chocolate couch shape
Indy Ti 169s with Riptides
F4 radial fulls
Swiss
Mob
hardware

Thanks @PuffinMuffin for the excellent Slap stickers!

Been skating on and off since the late 90’s and this is my first Chocolate/Girl board.  Wanted to give this shape a shot.  It would probably work better with 159s but I want to keep rocking with this set of 169s on all of my main setups until they’re axeled.

Spontaneous Christmas complete

Quasi 8.3
Venture 5.6
Satori Spenny Wheels 54 101
Cortina (the cheap ones)
Indy hardware

Excited to try Ventures for the first time since like 2005

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

First session on this felt really good, been skating Indy and Venture the past year and these Lurpivs didn't take much adjusting.

Skated my 15 year old daughter's 8.06 DGK yesterday, and really liked it.  I'm 49, but really want to learn flip tricks again.  Decided to try something a little different, so cut my 8.5 (originally 9.0 Creature Stu Graham with 15" WB) down to 8.125. Have some stage IV Indy 146 with 58mm OJ. Shortened the tail too. Had originally used chem tool on tail for more fingers of flat, but resulted in a tail in the 7.125" area. Definitely feels easier to try and flip. Making it my goal before 50. Learn 5 decent flat ground trucks.  Also tried to shape nose and tail to a full shape so would be a smidge wider for my big feet when I go to the park (small transition).  I would highly recommend people cut/shape their boards if they feel like it would benefit them. Jig saw with high velocity blade, small hand planer, file, fine sand paper, and wood sealer spray can.  It's pretty fun to nerd out on that shit.

New specs: 8.125"/WB:14.6"/N:7"/T: 6.75"; 6' tall, size 13 shoes, 220lb. Will be 50 Xmas '22.

I posted all the photos because I don't believe I've seen another Pylon on this website.
Pylon 8.25 x 14.5 (measures 14.38) x 32 - art by Dave Stiegerwald. This deck has quite full kicks, steep concave, and steep kicks. The company advertises that it's made in Alberta, so I'm guessing it's made by Control, based on the awesome 3 blue stained plies. They are great boards and I'd recommend them for anyone who likes steeper decks.
-Jessup
-AF1 44s stock
-97a 54mm Conical Fulls
-Zealous Ceramics to resist this Vancouver moisture in Winter
-Enjoi unisex hardware = I bought this so you don't have to.
