Managed to track down a Limo board in Germany, at skate deluxe of all places. Had to give it a shot right away, despite the hangover.

Limosine Hugo deck 8.5
Ace 55 classics
60mm radial fulls
quantum isotopes
bronze
jessup
[close]

Really surprised to not seeing any overhang with the 9.0 trucks and massive wheels. Nice setup, looks heavy as shit but super fun

How’s that deck? Similar to FA? Really intrigued and want to support Hugo after watching his followed on pocket mag.
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

It's way different from an FA board. Kicks are pointy, tail feels a bit longer and slightly steeper, and it's flatter than an FA. If you just got out of a 10 year coma and never heard about FA, you'd probably still call it short and steep, but it feels closer to the standard BBS popsicle.

edit: did some investigative reporting. Board is overall longer and more tapered, but the tail seems about the same. Nose is definitely shallower. Sorry for the potato pics

Cracked my week old eagle on a poorly landed 360 flip. My back foot leadfooted through it. I was tempted to set up another eagle but I’ve passed over this Scram deck in the pile for months. Not sure of the woodshop; it’s got a dot between the front baseplate holes if that helps. It felt kind of clunky snapping it up into my hand. I’ll give it a shot and if we’re not giving some kid at the skatepark will have a new board by next weekend

8.5 Gonz deck
159 Standard Hollow
56MM Powell Dragons 93A
Bronson G3s
Indy Hardware

Super comfy setup right there. Love it, just wish that Gonz had a little bigger wb for me. I know they're supposed to slide well, do the softer dragons help with impact too?

Surprisingly, yes. They do absorb impact ever so slightly better than my typical 99 F4s

Got rid of the last of my four consecutive Neen twin noses today, on to the Foys. To be honest I am a bit scared to test it, even if it is a twin as well, its quite a bit shorter with shorter wheelbase and steeper concave.

Deathwish Foy twin tail 8.5 / a hair under 32 / 14.28 WB
Miles
Indy 149 hollows (stock)
Bones 100s (used to be 52 but now more like 46)
Swiss, one of them not spinning like it should
Diamond 7/8 allen bolts

I am going to change the wheels soon as I have some Lil Smokies and Swiss 6 balls lying around but I couldn't change the bloard and the wheels at the same time.

I also did a lot of grinds lately so the Indys wore down quite a bit to the point I often hang up on the kingpin, which is mildly annoying but doesn't justify getting new trucks just yet.

It felt clunky because it’s slightly warped. It came in this hard plastic instead of the usual shrink wrap. It skated decently enough that I’ll deal with the warpage for a while

I love scram as a company, so nice.
They don’t make anything I want to ride these days (8s) and that’s good for them.
Some of their boards I have ridden felt pretty wacky. No ollie zone.
Warped boards for me: if I like the board, I don’t care if it’s warped. If I do not like the board…AND it’s warped!? Fuck off I’d rather not even.

Your Indy's look well worn now. If you would like more grind clearance, you can cut your top bushing down like 2-4mm and use a angle grinder to shorten the kingpin. You can also shave down the bottom bushing, but that messes with the geometry if you remove too much of the bushing. I took my bottom bushings down like 2 mm and really like that feeling (wheelbase gets a little bit narrower that way).

Forgot to take a pic til a few minutes into the session:
Polar Herrington 8.625
Ace AF1 Low 60
Pig ProLine 51mm
Quantums
Jessup

Been riding 8.75s for the past 2+ years. The other dimensions (length, wb) on this 8.625 are identical to the Polar 8.75 just shaved down by 1/8 on the width, but somehow feels so much smaller and lighter.  I really enjoyed it, had one of the best skate days in a long time.

Black Label punk point still has life, but I wanted a more square tail. Might set up the BL again later down the line.

Dogtown Tschoff Karma 'Puppet' Deck 9.625" x 32.375" with 14.5-15" adjustable wheelbase (set at 14.5")

Independent Standard 159s with IKP baseplate set, 92a top bushing and 90a bottom bushing

Powell Peralta Dragon Formula 56mm 93a V6

Bones Super Reds Ceramics

Independent x Slayer 1" hardware

Rib Bones

Jessup Ultra

For those interested in the Dogtown 90s reissue series, for whatever reason the shorter wheelbase holes were drilled by hand. They still work as usual, but the drill job is ugly and rough.

Neen had a twin nose, with the noses coming at 7“. The Foy is more like a hybrid, the tails are 6.75“.

Coming from the long Neen, the Foy seemed very short and stubby at the first short session I had but it was not an issue to adjust to the length. I was just surprised how perceptible the difference is.
