I skated that FA board until it had a baby crack in the middle and it felt dead. I really liked it. Back to another 8.25 Casper Brooker Baker and I really like their shapes

Everything else still the same: thunders, Swiss, classics, gammas
fuck you bama

those gammas really potatoe out like a classic emerica.
how come all their shoes, always just go weirdly wide with your foot flat?

I’m guessing it’s cause they’re a cut a little low and a little wide, while the upper is cut a little loose overall

I’ve been considering grabbing this deck, how do you like it? I’ve heard Jerry’s boards are mellower. I also ride ventures so would be curious to hear more!

I haven't ridden this, I put it together last night. It looks identical to my last Sci-fi which I think is a off the shelf generator. The shape is comparable to the birdhouse 8.25 I like to ride. You could call it mellow, but I wouldn't say it's noticeably more mellow.

If anyone with a sci-fi connect is lurking. Tell jerry to make 8.25 lay boards. His graphics so far have been my favorites.

Really leaned into the concept of "shop board" with the deck and stickers
Marriage shop deck, 8.6 (not sure of the rest of the dims, assuming it's the standard BBS 8.6)
Ace AF1 Low 60s with hollow axle hangers (also replaced the kingpin & axle nuts with the titanium Acer nuts)
Spitfire lil smokies classics 50mm
Quantum bearings
Acer titanium hardware
Pepper grip

Sci Fi has 2 8.25 shapes. They were using the Generator generics for a while. Now they use a shape that is like the 8.1 black Eagle- it's 8.25 but has like a 14.3 (not 14.25 or 14.38) and has longer/pointier kicks. My buddy and Slap pal loves that one. I don't know if the current drop uses that one but the last 2 did.

how are the ace 60 lows?
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Trying out eggs again. Definitely not used to the tiny kicks after coming off a hockey board, but it's super carvey and flippy with the undersized trucks. I also get a dark souls covenant style stat boost while riding krooked boards because I was born inside the beltway.
