Two setups currently because I tried something new and regretted it, hah. 8.5 (especially with razor-edge construction) is just not for me so I relegated it to a random-assortment of parts backup setup.

left (my go-to):
Sci Fi Arin Lester pro model 8.25
Ace Af-1 hollow 55 with ummm maybe Krux k5 bushings?*
Spitfire 53 mm F4 conical full
Bronson Raws
Lil Jawns Moth Jawns rails
Girl long neck 3/4" hardware I think? Allen because they sent me the wrong thing.

right (backup/curb/beater):
Heroin 8.5 razor edge popsicle
Slappy classic 9.0 (lol, I know...these were on a 9.5 razor egg before)
Spitfire F4 classics 52mm
Pig Rails that I broke one of taking it off the last deck
Idk maybe Bones Reds without shields? they're old as shit
Random hardware

*I honestly don't know what the bushings are but when I got these AF-1s the bushings would not break in and it was driving me crazy cause they were too tight so I went through my random hardware collection and found some bushings that were broken in and small enough that I could run them loose.

You could also do what I do and let my 250-300 lb friends have a cruise in it. I swear after 15m the bushings break in more than they do in 3 months of me skating.

Really leaned into the concept of "shop board" with the deck and stickers
Marriage shop deck, 8.6 (not sure of the rest of the dims, assuming it's the standard BBS 8.6)
Ace AF1 Low 60s with hollow axle hangers (also replaced the kingpin & axle nuts with the titanium Acer nuts)
Spitfire lil smokies classics 50mm
Quantum bearings
Acer titanium hardware
Pepper grip

This Marriage shop deck has been the best board I've ridden in a long time, the shape, dimensions and wood all just felt perfect, so I was delighted to confirm that it is actually the BBS/Generator blank 8.625 shape (8.625x32.375 14.625wb). So I got some of those and kept everything otherwise the same (including stain color)

Some shops are getting them in, otherwise they have their own site now to buy direct.  Make sure you factor in shipping as well, which sometimes adds up to about the same as a board, but if you get a few boards, or even a ten pack, shipping works out a lot better, from looking at it and putting in a few options there.

Some specs would be nice for the decks there. I didn't find any information about length, wheelbase, etc. Otherwise, a great option.

haha, I noticed the silver partway through the first session. Wasn't expecting that but pretty neat!

Earlier this year I was given a Real oval board of the same dimensions after a couple years of skating almost exclusively Quasis/PS boards and forgot how much I loved DLX.

Lovely setup. If you like that deck, the Limo 8.38 is the same exact shape and the Hockey Shape 2 8.38 is as well. The DLX 8.5 is actually an 8.38x14.18 weirdly, but they're very consistent in at least identifying it as a unique shape.

Liking the bearings, real smooth roll. The hockey is taking time to get used to coming from a DOA.

I skated 3 of that shape in a row, but on Indy 139's. Now i'm on the G026 shape and am really liking it so far. Wondering if indy's are a tad high for it tho?

- AH18 TNT: 8.5" x 32.18 × 14.25" x Press # II (I could be wrong on specs as I threw away the sticker dims and don't feel like measuring/double checking myself)
- Indy 149 Hollow Standards (same as last time. Need new bushings soon tho)
- Bones Big Balls bearings (new)
- Spitfire 54 F4 CF (probably 50mm by now I'm guessing)
- Mob Grip (always)
- KSL G6 (easily one of the best shoes out. Flicks so well on new or old grip and is proving to be quite durable. Second pair I've skated from my stack. I'm getting 2+ months out of these with skating 4 times a week at least)

This AH deck kinda feels like my previous Hockey shape 2 (8.5) but a little steeper on concave/kicks, and perceived shorter WB or length. Also kinda like the Navy eagle which I used to love, so I'm loving being back on DLX boards again after some Black Label, Hockey, Isle, The Killing Floor, and Polar for awhile
