Top ply and griptape color matching is great

Thanks, when I grip a deck, I actually go around the entire board with a file again after I trim it with a razor to expose more of the top stain...

Random question, why 人気のない instead of 人気がない? I get that they essentially mean the same thing, but my Japanese has gotten so rusty that I'm not sure if there's some other difference? Digging the graphic on that pink stain btw!

I don’t know if I can explain myself in English but you can change の and が in case the phrase is a relative clause. So の or が means “that”. In this case, 人気 means popularity and it can be had, so “the shop that hasn’t popularity” equals 人気がない店 or 人気のない店.
I’m Japanese but I can’t teach Japanese :-[

Nah you did a good job explaining. Thanks!

I believe the phrasing I put in the translator was “An unpopular skateboard company”

Sorry I forgot something. What do you want to highlight is key. If you say 人気のない会社 the emphasis is on 会社 company. It’s the most important word in your sentence. But if you say 人気がない会社 the emphasis is on 人気がない it’s unpopular. You want to highlight the company IS UNPOPULAR.

So you can say それは人気がない. (that is unpopular) but you can’t say それは人気のない.

Yeah I think that makes sense like I don’t think I’d ever say それは人気のない. The emphasis explanation is very helpful thanks! I struggle with keeping up with Japanese as a Japanese American lol. Most things come easily based on experience, but I usually don’t know exactly why.

Girl G096 8.5 twin tail w/ 14” wheelbase
Thunder Hollow 151’s
Black Panther bearings
52mm 99d Spitfire Classics

I put the washers that come on the axle stacked on the inside to push the wheels out a little further. This is one of my favorite setups I’ve ever had.

I was on 99d tablets w/ Venture 5.8’s and Thunder Hollow 149’s for a bit but wanted to see what a slightly wider truck would feel like. I also switched to classics because I wanted to slide around a bit more but didn’t want a harder wheel.

Want that Baker badly and the Spitfire stickers makes so much sense since flight graphics are worse than seeing Kevin Hoefler skate.
